  • Where is season two when you need it?

What happened? This game used to be my main source of entertainment. I used to be so excited to play every week, and now I find myself staring the app, and then stopping it. Because why does it matter? There is no story line, no character development whatsoever, no actual choice given. I feel like I’m reading a terribly written book and trying to make it to the end in hopes it will get better! I DONT WANT ALFIE. IM NOT A LESBIAN. I DONT WANT SURESH. Where is the romance that I WANT??!? Why am I being forced to choose between two emotionally manipulative men and one extremely offending women who doesn’t get that I am into men and not women? Nothing towards her, she’s ok I guess, but I am a straight women and feeling forced to make a decision I don’t want to make feels wrong. “NO” does not exist in this season, and it’s extremely claustrophobic and overbearing. Just a warning to any who want to try and play season 5, be prepared to literally not make a single choice that matters, be forced to be with three different people who you have rejected numerous times, and experience having a voice that literally does not matter.

    ENJOY!!!!

  • They ignore their fans

The game gets worse each season and they refuse to acknowledge feedback or care about player feedback.

Never mind anyone that wants to romance a same sex relationship. They offer worse options each season.
  • This game...it's not good

I loved the first version of this game but the writing in season 5 has gone WAY downhill. i deleted the app a little bit ago because it's not fun anymore. NONE of the options are good, nobody respects you and treats you as if everything you do is wrong. you get betrayed left and right and right now it's looking like the only good option is your bad ex. don't download this game. it's not worth your time.

  • Season Five

Can you please get better writers? Common issues players have with the latest season:

    1. Saying “no” is completely disregarded by the ex. This game was so loved in season 2 because we had more choice and it felt like consent mattered…

    2. Why hasn’t there been a chance for someone to leave yet? No voting for best couple or the hut and the season only has 5 weeks left.

    3. Why hasn’t there been any new male LIs introduced besides Finn, when it was WELL over halfway through the season? There is usually a lot more movement on and off the “show”.

    4. If there is going to be obscene amounts of drama (not balanced by the “love” part IMO) at least let the MC stick up for herself! MC doesn’t have any personality, no grit, no background this season and it’s completely disappointing.

    5. On top of the above, new outfits are often 20 gems and are shoved in our faces. In addition, paying gems for some choices will not always give you a scene you actually want to play… why!?

  • Really, ,really, really bad writing and not a true Interactive story

I played the Love Island game from the beginning. Season 1 and 2 on the old app were fantastic, the game peaked at Season 2. Ever since, the quality has gone downhill and every season has gotten worse. The writing and story telling is embarrassingly bad and the entire story seems pre-determined so it doesn‘t matter really what option you choose, the outcome is basically the same and the characters won‘t remember your previous choices. I was hoping they would improve but clearly they live off of the show‘s name but don‘t put the work into it and just asks to buy gems for options that just don‘t provide any good content. I will finish off the current Season and will just move on which is such a shame.

  • bad. so bad.

It’s like not one person on this project thought to put any effort in it. Season 1 was a good pilot, season 2 gave us exactly what we wanted and you guys KNEW we were happy with it. Season 3 was good but short and felt sped up for that reason. And for the new game you decided to completely throw season 2’s good qualities out the window, grab the shortness of season 3 and create this absolute dumpster fire of a new story. Every single decision is made for you in this game. I have given it the benefit of the doubt more than enough times. I wait for these episodes every week and hope to god theres something to be excited for, but no every single time i’m disappointed for different reasons. PS. your characters deserve more personality other than their love life. Whoever is writing this mustve grabbed every cliche in the book and just thrown it into a raffle because oh me oh my these characters are badly written and bland. Listen to the fans. You got all of this advice the first time and ignored it, do better.

  • way too difficult to get gems

choices don’t feel like they impact the story whatsoever (especially in Ex in the Villa) and it’s way too difficult to get gems. There’s pretty much one or more premium choices per episode but it’s basically impossible to earn gems, meaning you have to spend a lot of money just to pick SOME premium choices. And now the cost of choices and outfits is even more expensive than before. Really disappointing for those who can’t afford to spend money on the game

  • How far they’ve fallen

Let’s see if they don’t delete this 4th post. Long-time LITG supporter. Had enough of being forced into one-sided relationships. Season 4 was James. Now this season is both Alfie and Suresh. It’s angering and claustrophobic. Makes me feel trapped in unwanted situations without the ability to speak up. Even having a conversation with Alfie, the only options are to kiss him or hug him?!? How about being able to tell him to stop being delusional and possessive over his imagined relationship with the MC. The MC doesn’t get any say in who she speaks with and is constantly ambushed by unwanted company. This is not an interactive game. That would mean there are actual choices and those choices matter. Also… how about calming down on the pathetic attempts to pressure us into buying outfits? Lastly, how about paying attention to the poor reviews and fixing the issues identified instead of deleting poor reviews so people don’t know what they’re getting into. These low reviews are from LITG fans who used to love the game and are angry at the rapid decline in the quality and heart of this game. For those who say these low ratings are inaccurate and if we don’t like the game we should stop playing, I’m way ahead of you. Quit mid-episode 9 when it first dropped and deleted the game from my device. I think anyone who cares about quality writing and not being put in awkward, toxic situations also should.

  • The games good but …

you don’t have much freedom to who your character couples up with in both the new season especially ex in the villa, the choices seem very forced. Otherwise pretty good game, just give some freedom to who you couple up with like in the first 3 season.🥰🥰
  • Destroyed The Game

So, Im a really big fan of the first game (it used to be called Love Island The Game) until they changed it to love villa or something? Anyway, so the first game was amazing, but this new app is just terrible, the clothes are terrible, the story lines are terrible. Do not waste your money on gems and just play the first one.

It doesn’t really matter what options you choose to say because all of the characters will ignore you anyway and just make accusations and assumptions and won’t let you defend yourself and your choices for love interests are so bad. Especially in the volume: ex in the villa. SPOILER ALERT (incase you do play it): but your only options are your cheating, manipulative ex who won’t take no for an answer, a guy who falls in love with you after one night or just chilling out and dodging every attempt at a kiss and a girl who gets upset anytime she sees you with anyone even though you never showed any signs you like her.
