The app just doesn’t work. This really affects and diminishes the use of the product.
I think there’s a connectivity issue, where there’s quite a convoluted setup to link the fire to the phone via the home WiFi. I’ve managed to get the app working a couple of times, the rest of the time for no apparent reason, it’s an app with a blank page with no option to do anything with it.
If using the app means that you’ve got to reset the login via the WiFi setup and connection each time, then it’s essentially faulty and unusable.
I wouldn’t recommend the fire because of this. It’s very disappointing.

Waste of time
This app is buggy and problematic. Continually disconnects won’t let me login and is frankly useless. Paid a lot for a quality fire and had nothing but problems with this app and the fire itself so far which keeps turning itself off and on randomly
Stopped working
I’ve recently updated to iOS 18.2 and the app has stopped working. I don’t know if this a coincidence or another reason. I’ve reported it to the tech support and was told to make sure I’d got the latest version of the app (which I have). Now waiting for a reply.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!
Absolutely rubbish right from the start - we so wish we had never spent thousands on this fire for it to be unusable- disgraceful! App worked once then not again even on delete and reinstall ! So angry !

App updated , can’t use this as it will not accept password and did not receive email to update password . Did manage at one point to get my fire on heater by connecting it to Wi-Fi that was separate from our Wi-Fi , do not know how this happened then had to go to settings to turn our Wi-Fi back on , confused !
Need Tom all customer services , this has never been easy to use , need something better to operate my fire .

How Evonic can’t fix the apps is incredibly bad in 2024
Bad products and bad software. Terrible all round.

Terrible
Worked once upon set up but now won’t let me log in. I’ve tried the reset password button several times each time being told a link has been emailed to me to reset the password but I’ve never received one. The app simply doesn’t let you log in
