Duplicates….SO MANY Duplicates

I was initially excited about being able to connect with my email for e-receipts. Well that was a mistake. It imported the same ones like 4 times. I cleaned them up and then today ….they are back. I also set the timeframe to pull older receipts…nope pulled the same ones. Again. I could have manually entered an entire year of receipts in the time it took me to delete dups. Connected 3 email accounts and only pulled receipts from 1. And why can’t you sort the folders/categories? Scroll, scroll, scroll.

Wow!

My first praise is for the customer service! I filled out a “help request form” giving my email address and cell number and was contacted probably within 30 min or less. That’s huge in my book! They worked with me to understand what my issues were to a satisfactory conclusion. I love that my husband and I both can easily upload receipts. The scanner does a great job of picking up the needed data. So helpful in looking closely at our spending habits so we can make adjustments.

disappointed

Some very good aspects EXCEPT scans are blurry when viewed on desktop (but readable) and the big one, email receipts are not added to the folders. they’re only put into an eReceipt report. eReceipts aren’t categorized and no way to edit entries. go back to folders and only ones i’ve scanned are there. i doubt anyone needs a list of emailed receipts—i need those found in email slotted into their categories and added to the year/month/quarter. the OCR functions are excellent, but blurry scans and the email issue; i’m going to have to go with zoho for functionality. I’m disappointed. sounded like exactly what i needed without all the extra functions i don’t. boo. PS also i don’t want to pay a fee to QA your app. this is an obvious function that’s missing with the e-mails.

Hi Elka, I understand if have lost you - but if there's any chance we can win you back... first, you actually can categorize your eReceipts by tapping into the receipt and then into the section with the categories and adding them to any category you like. Second, with regards to the photo quality on desktop -- that should not be the case, and if you'll write us at support@simplywise.com, we'll look into this today and work to get this resolved for you ASAP. Great personal service

I had been looking for an app that I could use to keep track of expenses and documents I am very satisfied with Simplewise I had a user problem and Alli called me personally and I was extremely happy with her assistance Not open to have such personal experience Thank you very much

Best App ever

This app is great. I use it for receipts, documents, etc. it is also great for both sides of loyalty cards. Previously I almost always forgot and left it in the car. The pictures of everything are clear, as are the receipts, documents, cards, etc. it is also great for copying business cards, and organizing them; medical, auto, restaurants, etc. Almost forgot, great for copying menus, even multi page. I know I missed a few I use it for now, and more in the future. Best of all, response from customer service is outstanding; which is all to rare these days. When seeking support, all it does is report an error message? At first look, the App seems organized but once utilizing, it becomes very confusing. I used it for a few days but then I attempted to in out income? That became another rabbit hole? It looks like it has great possibilities but I do not have the patience. Let’s start with the support feature? Because there isn’t any. I cancelled before even subscribing. Apps are supposed to hasten usage not hamper it. Hopefully, it will improve.

Always a problem

I paid a lot to use this app to keep track of my receipts and every time I open the app and take my first receipt pic, it resets and I have to start over. Not only that, the increase of the app not reading receipts from places I have gone to and recorded before has increased. I do enjoy the app, but these bugs need to be squashed. Hopefully soon.

On top of that, you can’t even sign up in e-receipts. The method does NOT work at all.

Worth every penny

Im very critical on apps as they all seem to have short comings in different ways. I honestly cannot find any reason to dislike this app. I scanned in over 200 receipts the day i got it some very wrinkled and extremely faded and had 1 that didn’t scan and upload absolutely perfect. In the app’s defense it was so faded I couldn’t even read the name of the merchant. Solid 10 out of 5 stars. Keep up the good work

eReceipts are not working

Need help with the e receipts every time I forward the email it doesn’t work. I went to the app support link on the App Store and it leads me to a web version of the app. No help at all. I think the e receipts should have better instructions in the beginning. It’s very confusing. And I’m begging for the setting to be able to turn off the additional emails I get after I forward an email receipt. It’s way too much clutter. Also would love some folder icons more inclusive to women. Like a cosmetics one and for clothes maybe some dresses instead of a men’s work shirt. Would also be nice to have different colors in each for different family members. But mostly I just want eReceipts to work again. I’m on the seven day trial right now and the fact that I’m already having issues is extremely disheartening because I was very excited.
