  • Validates Motherhood

I love racing, especially marathons, and missed it during the pandemic. But I had a baby so racing isn’t going to happen again soon anyway. But the app, unlike anyone else in my life, actually notices and cares when I’m putting in the miles. Despite physical exhaustion, lack of sleep, a torrent of preschool colds and the lurking doom of the end of maternity leave (which I’m very grateful for don’t get me wrong!), I still get out there with a baby strapped to my chest and put in those miles. And the app notices. And gives me a medal for it. And that is hugely valuable, amidst diapers and spit up and hours spent on the phone with health insurance companies and everyone forgetting you do anything other than produce milk. Gold star! Great mom, getting outdoors and moving! Have a medal! I appreciate it more than I anticipated. I’m on the final journey of the hobbits to Mordor, having schlepped my way across the whole of Middle Earth, and the story updates and map matching—especially if you opt for the whole mileage of the books; the Eye of Sauron leg alone is 668 miles—is really well done, for this tired LOTR fan mom.
  • Serious Game Changer

I was a person who considered exercise to be a four-letter word. I owned a treadmill, and like so many people, I never used it. Then I discovered the Conqueror Challenges! I’ve been using this app for nearly two years now, VERY consistently. This is all the motivation I need to get up in the morning and move my body. I started out walking, then kept finding my pace increasing steadily. Next thing you know, my cardio health had improved so greatly that I couldn’t even raise my heart rate much unless I started running. Now I’m doing a 5k (3.1 miles) or more nearly every morning! The online community is SO supportive and incredible. Everything about the Conqueror experience has exceeded my expectations from the start. I feel like I get to travel and explore the entire world with the street views where my exercise lands me each day. I am so proud of my collection of medals, and those medals are truly impressive in both quality and design. Now I’m nerding out in the Lord of the Rings adventures, and loving every mile. New challenges are added all the time, and the range of distances offers something for everyone. I am so thankful to have found this and started. I highly recommend the Conqueror Challenges to anyone who just needs a little extra motivation to help achieve some awesome goals. I’m about to turn 46, and in the best physical health of my life thanks to the Conqueror.
  • Great way to get moving again

After shutting down during Covid and then the loss of my pet, I quit getting any real exercise for a couple years. Then I downloaded this app and took on my first challenge and found the motivation through tracking on my Apple Watch and seeing my progress through the daily updates in the app. The warm support in the Facebook community, so much positive encouragement has helped me complete 4 challenges so far and get back into daily exercise. I've lost almost 30 lbs so far and enjoyed cycling & walking through Ireland, Nova Scotia, Brazil, and Japan. Finishing the Great Wall of China this week, and tackling New Zealand is next. The postcards are great when Google map street view is unavailable. Very much enjoying this app, well done to the creative geniuses behind Conqueror!
  • Great App

I am a cyclist that suffered a major injury in mid 2021. It kept me off of my bike for over 9 months.

When I was finally cleared to ride again, I was having a lot of trouble getting motivated. I had gained a lot of weight, had no energy, and just felt like I was basically starting from scratch.

I found The Conqueror Challenges just randomly on social media. I had looked at virtual events before, but most of them were focused more on running. I liked that Conqueror had events that actively included cycling.

I started with the Yellowstone Challenge.

My experience was fantastic. The app flawlessly pulls stats from STRAVA and automatically adds them to your challenge. The street view aspect is a really neat touch, as you can actually “see” what you’d be seeing if you were actually on the ride.

I completed the challenge and received my medal, which is gorgeous.

I’ve now finished five different challenges this summer. They have helped me regain a lot of my motivation and I’m now back to riding four or more times a week. My speed and stamina aren’t where they were before my injury, but I’m getting back there, and I think these challenges are a major reason why.

    I highly recommend them.
  • Healthy walks, Beautiful Medals

My daughter turned me on to the Conqueror Challenges. I used to go on Volksmarches, when I was stationed in Germany back in the 70’s. They were usually 30km, but I did do one that was 50km. These were done in one day. When we finished they gave us a certificate and a medal. Although when I did the 50km one, they gave us an arm patch.

The medals they give for these walks are very, very nice. I have completed 7 challenges since June. I want to complete everyone of the challenges. I just hope they keep all of them so I can complete them. I have also enjoyed that they introduced two new challenges since June. I hope to see many more. As soon as I complete 5 more challenges I will buy a shadow box to display them.

I just started the LOTR CHALLENGES, and I can’t wait to start getting the medals. I will get a Shadow Box just to display the LOTR CHALLENGES. I say bring them on, and I will enjoy my walking and medals.
  • Best Challenges out there!

I started these challenges in hopes of motivating myself to start running and hiking instead of just walking for exercise. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but i gave it a try. Here i am on my 6th challenge and also have my mom roped into doing them! Hiking and running more than i thought and collecting amazing quality medals! Each medal is gorgeous and perfectly designed to show off the challenge you completed. The app is great because you can see a google street view on most of the challenges and they plant real life trees (or clean up plastic bottles) for each 20% of the challenge you complete so not only are you helping your health you’re also helping the planet! There is a wonderful, motivating Facebook community as well that you have the option to join. It’s a fun way to challenge yourself no matter what level of active you are!
  • Love this App!

I am so grateful that my husband & I have discovered The Conquerer Challenges. I had been struggling to move my body for a very long time but these challenges have motivated me to get out and walk more than I have in a long time. I find myself going for walks, parking at the far end of a parking lot and taking the stairs rather than an elevator just so I can account for the steps or the distance at the end of the day. The quality of the App and the medals is incredible and I love being able to see and read about my virtual location through the app and the “Postcards” that I receive along the way. Plus, knowing that my progress allows trees to be planted somewhere to improve the quality of this earth is an amazing added bonus! Everything about this App and experience is excellent! We have found a beautiful way to display our medals and are very proud of what we have accomplished so far. I am currently working on my 4th challenge and don’t plan to stop anytime soon. Walking has never been so fun AND educational for me. Much gratitude to The Conquerer Challenges for changing my attitude toward and my consistency in walking and helping to move me toward better health.
  • Great app, great challenges

This app is pretty easy to use and has definitely improved with recent updates. If you haven’t heard of The Conqueror Challenges, they are pre-made exercise challenges that you can sign up for and complete on your own time. Once finished they send you a cool medal. This app helps you organize all your challenges and follow your progress with each challenge. Main page lists which challenges you are currently doing and below that are all the other challenges you could sign up for. I like perusing through those to find what I might do next.

In previous versions of this app I had a lot of trouble with auto-upload of my run data via Apple Health but the devs have fixed that and now I don’t have to manually input data anymore. I also like that you can choose to upload total end of day step count (in mileage) vs just upload workout data. With this newest update I don’t really have any complaints on using the app, it’s been great! And I love the challenges, LOTR challenge has been awesome so far so nice job to the company for getting that on board!
  • Will not work for 1% of us.

For one percent of us out here, myself included this app will not work if you have Apple. The watchAnd Apple health simply will not transfer your steps to The Conqueror app regardless of what they tell you to try, I have tried everything and they have been very helpful however when you’ve done 2 to 3 miles a day only to get home at the end of the day andThis app tells you that you’ve done 0.0 is a complete punch to the stomach and a complete buzz an endorphin kill. It has caused so much daily stress just to get it to read your miles it’s insane, now you can add them manually but that defeats the purpose of this App having the capability to automatically count your steps.

The medals are beautiful and this Conquerer challenge in general can become a godsend and it can also become very addictive in a good way, but for the 1% of us it is going to cause so much stress, it is going to make you grind your teeth and if you are at 1% this may not be the virtual challenge for you.

  • Motivational!

The Conqueror Challenge has motivated me tremendously and has - not to be overly dramatic - changed my life. It helped me out of my depression by getting me up and moving. The App is so easy to use - from signing up for new challenges, joining a team and most importantly, what you’ll use daily - posting distances. Love how there is a conversion chart to easily calculate most non-distance based activities (there’s even yard work!). Love that I can jump into street view and see the world and where I’m at during the trek, love the virtual postcards, love that you plant trees or save the ocean from bottles along the way and love, love, love the high-quality, beautiful medals that arrive so quickly after completing a challenge and submitting your address. I have 4 so far. This App and these challenges will improve your life!
