Terrible Experience
Was forced to use the app in an attempt to locate and sign up for GORUCK events because of the decision by GORUCK. The app is terrible to navigate. My profile has been deleted multiple times. You cannot find events without guessing where on the maps of North America and Europe they would be. The app and customer experience is so bad I went ahead and deleted it. If this is the only way I can sign up for GORUCK events, then I guess I will no longer be doing them. This is coming from a customer of over 5 years and 20+ events.

This is my first ever App Store review just to warn everyone that this all requires you to have access to your contacts.

App kicked me out from my account then will not let me log in goes straight to create new account.
Contacts list access or no account.
The app wants access to your contacts and will not finish setting up your account until you give it access. This should be an option not a requirement. There is no reason they need my contacts other than to use the info to sell or to market to them. Sorry, feels like a total scam. I’m sure people who are willing to turn over their contacts to this company have a good experience.

Must share your contact - dealbreaker
The app requires you to share your contacts. It won’t move forward if you don’t. This is a dealbreaker and I uninstalled it.
App does not work
All GORuck extents have been moved to the app. However you can never login because it says error or just crashes.
Also, stuck in a loop
Same as other reviewer… log-in, app says there’s an update, but none exists. Tried everything, nothing works.
Stuck in a loop
Tried to open the app. But when I try to log in it wants me to update the app. There is no update in the App Store just the open button which takes me to the log in screen which wants me to update. Around and around. What is going on? I love Goruck products. They are all top quality but this app is not up to par.

I downloaded the app and it just says to update however I just downloaded and there is no update available.
