Bad if you like riding the bus

I have never been able to log in. I get a smiley U that says whoops, wrong turn before I can even get to the menu. Had to buy a physical card.

What you should know

Good app in terms of convenience but super inaccurate timing. Been late a lot even leaving minutes earlier than the time it tells you to leave your location for the stop. They also updated it and it got less user friendly in my opinion

Garbage

I went to go and fill my account with money and it didn’t accept my visa debit. I went to see if I could figure out why, and it said contact your local transit service

Went to delete the account and I can’t delete my account because… you guessed it! I have to contact my local transit service!

If everything is done by bc transit what is the point of this app?

Very Convenient!

Used the app in Regina and in BC and loved it. Works great, not sure what some the comments are about.

Waste of my time

I downloaded the app yesterday and initially, everything worked fine. I added a pass for myself and actually made it onto transit.

Today, nothing works at all! The app doesn’t know where I am. It keeps saying “something went wrong”. Not only that, my funds are gone. I go to add more funds and there are no options for passes. Just a blank screen.

This project is one of the worst fails I’ve ever seen. Fix it, or cancel the project.

Piece of garbage

I don’t use it much. Every time I need to put some money into was fine. But not after the latest update. Still using the same card, but it declaim my transaction every time now.

Nearly useless

I’ve missed so many busses bc of the design and lack of intuitive flow from this app. Why do I have to input my county every morning? Why do I have to input my home and work everyday? When searching for locations why does it suggest locations several states away? Why bother listing a walking route of several hours simply bc it’s ‘healthy’ and free? These are just a few questions left unanswered daily. It’s clear none one on the development team has ever taken a bus and lacks understanding of basic commuter needs.

App works fine

What’s with all of the bad reviews? The app works fine. My only suggestion would be to link the same physical Umo card to your mobile account. All of these bad reviews are just ppl trolling.

Straight up doesn’t work

The app has someone deleted the hundreds of 1 star reviews on the App Store but, no matter how many times you delete and redownload, update, etc etc etc it does not work. Will not let me load money on.

Resetting your ratings to avoid bad publicity??

There were definitely more than two ratings. The issue with this app is it use to be efficient. But now it’s a buggy mess. Favorite stops don’t stay favorited. The template for seeing stops is confusing and it only shows stops in your vicinity. The timing is off and will say the bus isn’t coming when it still is,l. They got rid of their customer service and expect us to contact the local transit agency but they don’t deal with bugs with Umo app. It’s Umos responsibility to fix these bugs on their own they shouldn’t need us to contact a our local transit agency when our local transit agency can’t and won’t do anything.
