Resetting your ratings to avoid bad publicity??

There were definitely more than two ratings. The issue with this app is it use to be efficient. But now it’s a buggy mess. Favorite stops don’t stay favorited. The template for seeing stops is confusing and it only shows stops in your vicinity. The timing is off and will say the bus isn’t coming when it still is,l. They got rid of their customer service and expect us to contact the local transit agency but they don’t deal with bugs with Umo app. It’s Umos responsibility to fix these bugs on their own they shouldn’t need us to contact a our local transit agency when our local transit agency can’t and won’t do anything.

Bad excuse for a bus app

First off, you can’t use the app if you don’t have an internet connection, which is extremely annoying for people who don’t have access to wifi outside the house (like me).

THEN, there’s the fact that if you create an account on the Umo app, you can’t use your Umo card. Of course they don’t TELL you that when you download the app. Being forced to use only one or the other is a terrible idea. Being able to use both the app and card would save a lot of headache for people, as having the card as a backup if your data plan changes would be helpful. But for now, yeesh, I can’t believe BC transit is making this mandatory now

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, you need an internet connection for the Umo App to work. Also, if you absolutely want to use both the app and the card, you can, however, you must have a separate Umo card account and a Umo app account. You can load your Umo card online at the Passenger Portal: https://ca.umopass.com/en-CA/#/en-CA/login. Keeping a backup loaded Umo card will insure that you are not left stranded if you run out of data or phone battery. We hope this information helps. Works great

Way easier than having to hold and reload a physical card. I love that it also has alerts and trip planning all in one!

App never saves locations. Hard to look at routes

Immature app

I can’t believe this app is being forced on us before it’s ready. The signup screens don’t even follow the most basic UX rules. And why is it not linked to my Apple ID for payment?Putting in a credit card is so dark-ages.

Fall ‘24 update

Very little use out of this app now. Biggest gripe is the “always on” location settings required to use. You do not need to know where i’m at if i’m not using the app. My pick up and drop off stops are all wrong. I wouldn’t use this app at all anymore if it didn’t have my wallet attached. It also needs to stop suggesting a 4 mile walk home through a dangerous part of town as a healthy alternative.

Apple Watch integration

I think it if could be integrated on the Apple Watch as a complication it would be a very welcomed addition. Also the app says it’s compatible with Apple wallet but still not seeing how or where this is possible

Bad new update

Now I can’t load money into my wallet to buy a bus pass because it’s trying to use money from my wallet- but my wallet is empty. So I can’t reload my wallet- because it’s trying to pay for it using money from my wallet- stupid. Make it make sense. Now I have no way of paying for the bus.

Just doesn’t work

I’ve tried to get a pass through this app over 20 times and it just doesn’t work. And they don’t sell them anywhere because they want to implement this non functioning app :(

HORRIBLE app

This app does not work. I have tried over and over again to pay for my fare and consistently fails.
