You will end up returning because the remote and app do not operate correctly. Lights look amazing, but function returned to demo mode and options are now useless. Defective foot pedal/ remote
Called Home Depot. The manufacturer apparently sent out defective equipment on 90% of the trees. Every tree with this issue is stuck into “store mode” where the lights go through all the settings.
They’re sending out correct wiring/ foot pedal. 7-10 shipping days. Absolutely PO’d. Won’t be able to enjoy this tree as much as we wanted.Show lessF home depot
Convenient
I was skeptical about the app at first because of the rating. But I have been using it for my tree just fine. All the options work. It’s very convenient for use in case you lose the remote or the batteries die.AshMarieIsAGee
Remote is useless
Using the remote wouldn’t control the lights. Downloaded the remote app… that doesn’t work either. Lights do whatever they want with no rhyme or reason. Very dissatisfied…reading other reviews tells me I won’t get support from the manufacturer. Tree is great—but the lights flashing bright white are stressful and will give you a migraine!Show less22justme
Works Great
I was concerned after reading the negative reviews. This app works perfectly for me. I bought this tree from HD about 2 weeks ago and set it up right away.
It was super easy to use the remote to get the tree out of Demo mode and into Home mode. Then I downloaded this app. It’s been working flawless since! I’m really happy with the app and the amazingly beautiful Christmas tree!!Show less#RoCuo
Works perfectly
Just set up our new tree and I decided to download the app and it works perfectly. Based on all the bad reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect, but no problem here.Joe S 14
Beautiful garbage
Tree is gorgeous. The promise of “twinkling” instead of flashing is what got us. $380 and hours of frustrations later and still cannot get the tree out of demo mode. Yes, held the two buttons on the remote down. Yes tried naming the tree in the app. NONE OF IT WORKS! Tree is just in demo mode and will be going back to HD tomorrow. FRUSTRATED!!Show less*42
Second tree works….
Bought tree at HD and after installation, would not come out of demo mode with the supplied remote. I downloaded the app with the same result. Power cycled the tree and remote with same results. Determined it was a defective receiver in the tree control module. Called support and they wanted to send me a new one in 2-4 weeks… Not an acceptable option with tree decorations spread all over the living room!
Went back to HD, bought another tree, removed the control module and installed it on my already standing tree. Worked perfectly!
Returned second tree with defective control module from first tree to HD.
Very disappointed in quality control of the manufacturer! I’m sure they would find some way to blame the pandemic, as that seems to be the go-to excuse for poor quality and customer service these days….Show lessIltfm172N!
SO DISSAPOINTED
Absolutely fell in love with this beautiful tree in the store. Unfortunately after many attempts to get the remote working I will return it. Have downloaded the app to both I-Pad and my phone more than once. Contacted customer service. They sent detailed instructions, but really no different than what I was already doing, but still no luck. 🙁🙁🙁Show lessornttt

If you guys are running around your house trying to find battery’s try checking your outlet plug this on the wire we’re some battery’s for the remote or that’s just me but anyways j hope that’s useful!luna benitez
