  • My Christmas tree

  • Very Disappointed!

    Bought a 7.5 ft Starry Light Fraser Fir Flocked pre lit tree from Home Depot and the tree lights up but the remote control and the app do not work. We can’t get it out of demo mode. We will be going back to see if we can swap out the control box to see if that works. If not we will be returning it. I’m tired of the cheap crap that comes from China.

  • A Lemon tree ended up BEAUTIFUL

    Like many others, after I followed all the directions for setting up the tree, it would not go off the store mode. After making two calls to customer service, finally I was told the company would send a replacement for the faulty part. I was skeptical, but a week later the part had arrived. After attaching the new part, PRESTO!!! IT WORKED!!!! Now I have a BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS TREE! No more lemon!!!!

  • Would give 0 stars if avail

    I like others, have a defective remote that will not come off of display mode. When I go to download the remote, it won’t scan and won’t download the remote. I paid way too much money for this friggin tree to have these kind of issue.

    App shows multiple tabs of options for changing color and style. I only have one page, how do you get all the other options?
  • Pretty Tree, Awful Electrical Issues

    Really liked this Home Decorator's pre-lit 7.5ft Grand Duchess Balsam Fir. It's a beautiful tree and we loved it. Unfortunately, we had issues with the lights from the moment it was plugged in. Couldn't get it to turn on at first, then we couldn't get it out of demo mode. We've also had issues of the tree turning back on by itself after being turned off. Happen twice. The remote and app don't work. It never came out of demo mode. No support website for the tree or app. We'll be returning it to Home Depot tomorrow. BEYOND FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED!

  • Be Patient !

    This company will help you. It’s obvious that the manufacturer sent defective Control Boxes out with these trees.

    I contacted LEDUP and they sent me a new Control Box and everything works fine now. No issues with the phone app or the remote that came with the tree.
  • Home Depot Grand Duchess balsam fir 7.5ft

    We bought the tree today from Home Depot. The grand duchess balsam fir. Assembled it. But then couldn’t get out of “demo mode”. Tried everything (yes holding the two buttons at the same time very close to the tree). The directions are clear. This App doesn’t work… for $500 this was a huge disappointment and now we need to take it back. We thought buying an artificial tree would be so easy but now we question it because of the tech issue. Will the devise not work next year and we will be forced to return it again then? It seems the tree is no longer on the Home Depot website anymore. Must be defective do not purchase.

  • Defective

    We had to tighten all of the connectors to get the lights to come on. Still missing one row of lights. Remote control doesn’t work. Downloaded the app to 2 phones and still can’t get the tree off of store demo mode. Called the number on the instruction sheet. After 25 minutes waiting on someone to answer the call, I got put on hold “2-3” minutes for technical support. Over an hour later, my dinner cooked while I was on hold no one ever picked up. The guy got my name, phone number and sku number of the tree. I still have not heard back from anyone. I do not have time to spend hours waiting for someone to tell me I need a new tree!

  • Unfortunately app does not work with tree.

    I bought a Christmas tree but the remote didn’t come with it. The instruction book said to download this app to use as a remote. But it doesn’t work. My tree is stuck on display mode. It’s pretty but not what I wanted it to do. I was really hoping this app would work but sadly it does not.
