Déception totale

Mauvaise connexion avec mon compte : l’appli mobile ne sait pas que j’avais déjà publié une opération. Pas très utile : pas d’accès à mon carnet de vol entre autres. Mis à part l’accès privilégié aux autorisations de Nav Canada, je ne l’utilisais pas pour la planification car il y a d’autres applis mobiles plus pratiques.

Doesn’t update to advanced license

Good if all you want to fly are micro drones. Anything else says you aren’t allowed to fly in any air space category

Clunky and awkward

Having to re-input the emergency condition information every time even if you copy the operation is unnecessary repetition. Find a way to fix this please. Turn around for approvals needs to be 48-72 hours. Impossible to anticipate weather conditions more than 5-7 days in advance. For model flyers at MAAC sanctioned fields this process needs to be improved. Approvals should be for a minimum a week at a time for model flying at MAAC fields. Optimally should be 30 days at a time. That would avoid us having to file flight plans for every day of the week just in case weather conditions are good. You are creating a lot of work that needs to be streamlined for a more sensible process for those of us that work hard to comply with nonsensical rules for model airplane pilots.

This apps sucks! Completely unreliable and trustworthy

NAV Canada get your information correct. One day says at my house can fly my basic category drone. Next time I look, it’s not allowed. I know of the Aerodome I’m in. Only one day it’s fine next gives 2 warnings. Next day it’s fine so this becomes unreliable. For example, I can’t even fly in my own yard? Next day I can so this is big glitch in the app. So disappointed learning all about regulations Aerodromes classes of airspace. This is tool transport. Canada says you need to use.

Asks for phone number for account registration

You don’t need a phone number to use the app but you need to provide it if you want to register an account. This unfortunately takes a step in reducing your privacy. Email plus captcha should be sufficient for the registration and human confirmation.
