  • Amazingly Accurate

Like others here I tried it a few times and then bought it for unlimited scans. It’s brilliantly accurate in cutting out objects from their backgrounds for other uses. Great app. Well worth it.
  • Simply Unbelievable!

I haven’t even begun to use the scan functionality but the ability to detect and separate an object from the background and so FAST is simply unbelievable. This app saves tons of time for this function alone. I used it to create a Craigslist posting and the photos look really professional but it took only seconds!
Well worth $4.99 and free trial for the first few photos!

  • Seems great at first…

When I asked my mom for this app she said it looked like you would have to pay for it, but I still wanted to try it out. I took some pictures and it looked GREAT, but then it said that I couldn’t take anymore unless I paid $5. I’m very disappointed. I hope they will change the app so you can take unlimited pics or at least WAY more then you can currently take. Maybe there could be a few ads—that’s better then only being able to take 5 or 6 pictures. Overall I say DON’T get this app unless the editor makes a few tweaks. Please respond.

  • Really Impressive Tool!

Does exactly what it promises, well and consistently. Really useful if you want to grab things from the real world (text, objects, faces etc) and make them play nice on your phone/iPad/computer. Could I do this on Photoshop? Yes, in 5-10x the time and with far more hassle. £5 is a small price to pay for such a great little app. Thanks Dev for simple and user friendly approach, no tracking, no subscriptions, no nonsense!

Buy it, use it, be happy it exists.

  • Wow. This is it.

Was a fan of other apps over the years, but they either had gone subscription or didn’t improve their feature set. This one is fantastic, especially for a one time cost of $5. Even if they charge for a new version in 18 months, that is preferable over a subscription.

This does far more than any other scanning app I’ve ever used (and I have used many)!

  • Some issues mean you can’t trust it

Good app, with some great ideas but it has a few issues which mean I prefer SwiftScan.

For example when you save your scan, there is nothing to tell you if it has actually worked or not. Some of my scans saved to my Google Drive, some didn’t. I’ve no way knowing until later when I check the drive. The same is true whether you save to your phone or images.

You can’t change the default scan type. That means every time I open the app it’s looking for objects to scan, rather than documents, which is what I’m trying to do. There is an option to change it, but nothing happens when you tap on it.

All in all, this app has really cool ideas but the implementation needs a little TLC.

  • Underrated !

    Great app
  • Great app and no “in app purchases”

Finally, a great scanning app, and one that does have a continuously recurring cost of “in app purchases”

Pay for it once, and you won it..

    THANK YOU!!!
  • Terrific app

This is the best overall scanning app I’ve found yet. It scans text with few issues that are common to most text scanning. But it’s ability to scan objects, including people, is nothing short of amazing. This app is worth every penny spent.
  • Don’t bother with any other scan apps, this is the one

I can only endorse all the other five-star reviews. Just one thing I would like to see and that is being able to use a Bluetooth remote or the Apple Watch app as is normal with iPhone and iPad. At the moment no remote I’ve used works with this app but I still recommend it over others I’ve used. Thanks.
