    Love the app
  • Great app

Perfect to track my activity levels and sleep. One thing I would love to see is an option to have a report or summary on overall health generated perhaps even with recommendations how to improve areas that need work on eg. health/sleep etc. Example it tells me what readings are off or too low or high, but not what that means exactly for my health. Otherwise works perfect with my Apple Watch.

  • Love this app, best out there to optimize your health

If you don’t have this app, yet, you should get this it ties in everything all your measurements from your Apple Watch your Apple health, your electrical, impedance scale. It puts it together and gives you some feedback that’s gonna help you to achieve better and improve your performance.
  • 7 days in and it’s just what I wanted!

After a lot of researching “should I get an Apple Watch or a Whoop” I decided to go with the Apple Watch as it has so many more features, and you own the tech outright. I hate subscription models like Whoop, but their tech and the way they showcase all your data was impressive…then I found Athlytic.

Such a great use of all the data, pretty much identical in the data it’s pulling and displaying as Whoop but for a fraction of the price. It will be interesting to see how my journey develops on the app and using it to train.

Really suprised it’s not better known, I think the Athlytic team need to push their marketing!

  • The companion to my recovery

I have been using the app for a year now and I am extremely happy with it. I am recovering from an illness and it’s important for me to understand how to pace myself properly to avoid crashes. I find the app very accurate in its representation of my effort and cardiac health. While not a medical device, I think it’s a great tool for patients like myself.

  • Lifestyle changing fitness app

My husband is an Apple Watch user but the Apple Watch fitness details is limited compared to Garmin, Strava, etc. users. This app helped him understand his level of exertion from his workouts and how well he recovered (or didn’t recover). Very specific details that are unavailable in the Apple fitness app.

This app calculated all of his health stats and workouts, and basically told him he wasn’t pushing hard enough.

Intrigued by this, I decided to download the app as well, even though I’m a Garmin user, and surprisingly found more detailed information that I didn’t quite get with the Garmin Connect app; exertion, recommended workouts and why these workouts were being recommended.

We’ve been experimenting with the recommendations and so far I’m a pretty big fan. Mostly because I’m realizing I still have more gas in the tank than I realize and it’s probably why it’s taking me some time to get past this comfort zone I’m in.

It is definitely more Apple Watch friendly than it is Garmin with a minor issue I’ve experience. I’ve been able to overcome it with a manual workaround. Tiny amount of inconvenience, considering the overall benefit.

Wishing the app creator all the best. Pretty well thought out.

  • Great app, but questionable updates

The standard Apple Watch health data feels limited and hard to read through, Athlytic has visually appealing dashboards, detailed breakdowns on sleep, stress and exertion and I am a huge fan of the information breakdowns and general UX. A must-have if you use an Apple Watch.

However, I noticed in the update today that they have removed the ‘calendar’ section of the app, which allows you to see a high-level overview of stress, recovery, sleep and exertion over the past months (as far as I can tell this no longer exists). I think this is a huge loss as I used this a lot to see trends in these areas and if any changes I made in a week had made a positive change. Would love to see this feature brought back!

I also think the performance of the ‘Journal’ section needs improvement. Previously it was often unresponsive when I tried to tag, and now the updates take a long time which discourages its use.

    Developer Response

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. We did not remove the calendar section, just relocated it. It's the calendar icon on the top right corner of the today screen. Hope this help! Thank you! - Jaclyn
  • Training insight that works

    Love this app so much!

When you are training hard and working for gains every lever you can pull makes a difference. This app helps me know where I am at physically at any moment.
  • Almost bought a Garmin but changed my mind because of this

I was almost ready to give up on my Apple Watch for a Garmin watch and now I’m reconsidering. This app is amazing at making the data actionable. I hope it will be keep on improving, because it has great potential. I’m hoping you might develop some sort of a similar feature to the body battery from Garmin. Keep up the great work!

  • Worth every penny

If you are in a training phase it’s a great tool to help gauge how hard you can push. Paired with an apple watch, it’s on par with or even more actionable that Garmin’ training readiness feature.
