  • This is at least a 6-star app

    With Athlytic Pro my Apple Watch now does 95% of what I bought a Garmin Fenix 7 for. If I could only have one app on my Watch this would be it. The subscription fee is very reasonable, especially when compared to other tracking apps that deliver way less for higher cost. The developer is very fast to respond and releases new features at an impressive pace.

  • Essential companion for me

    Gives me all the extra metrics I am looking for in my workouts. Letโ€™s me know how prepared I am for my workouts and has even predicted when I am getting ill before I even knew to help my recovery. I canโ€™t recommend highly enough. I have been using for a year now before I reviewed and would go as far as saying if you have an Apple Watch and are using it for any sort of distance training or even weight training this is an essential app.

    This app basically turns your apple watch into a Whoop strap! I love how accurate itโ€™s readings are and suggest you start your day with a breathing session so you know how you recovered.

    I love Athlytic because it makes sense of all my health data. I have tried a number of different apps that claim to do similar things for less money or more and I keep coming back to Athlytic.

    I really appreciate the developers personalised style to the updates. There is always something new being added.

    Athlytic uses data collected by your Apple Watch to provide trends and insights. All data is kept and analysed on device so no data is shared with third-parties.

    I would never not skip a training session because an app suggested to take it easy - however being able to look back on long-term trends provides me with insight into how my training effects my sleep and recovery and how outside factors have a positive or negative impact on my overall health and well being.

    The app is being actively developed with well written guides and an active user community.

  • Data is just not precise

    Ever since I switched from Garmin to an Apple Watch Iโ€™m missing the stress and body battery feature. I thought that this app would be the answer for that, but the data is just not what I was expecting. Today for example, I had a bad night of sleep and worked out this morning. Iโ€™m feeling exhausted but โ€œrecoveryโ€ is showing 100%. There were other days when I was feeling much better and recovery was below 50%. The data is just all over the place and doesnโ€™t kinda makes sense to me.

    Athlytic app takes the fitness tracking to the next level. It shows how well I recovered overnight, how hard to train and when to slow down to avoid overexertion and injuries.
    The recent addition of stress level monitoring makes the app even more complete.
    I havenโ€™t found any other app in this category so advanced.
