  • Don’t buy!!

    This app/ company is horrible!! Very much a bait and hook. They provided absolutely no information on the vehicle I was looking up, I ended up going back to carfax to get said information. Then when you try to cancel the membership (that is not free!!!), it is nearly impossible!!! I found it easier to report to my CC as fraud then it was to get them to cancel the account. Buyer beware. SCAM SCAM SCAM
  • Malicious subscriptions

    Process is deliberately convoluted and can only be preformed through a phone call unless you subscribed through iOS, and they accounted for this by making subscriptions through iOS more expensive.

    Should be a button on website or app that allows you to unsubscribe like every other modern company’s webpage.

  • Malware at its finest

    Website baits you offering “free vin check”. Said vin check takes about 5 minutes to load and then after waiting you are prompted to choose a subscription option. After waiting 5 minutes I figured I might as well just pay, after paying Bumper says they don’t have any information on the vehicle. Total bait and switch, saying I need to pay to get the info but then they don’t have any. They make it extremely hard to cancel. Can’t warn you enough to NOT buy this app.

  • Zero customer support

    I did a trial membership. Numerous attempts to contact customer support to discontinue my association with this company, there is not a human being only a chat bot. Further to chat, but does not respond or understand the text. Seems you’re in this for life. Request for a refund or rebate where it’s always denied. This does not provide values for RVs. Therefore it is of no benefit. Stay away

Please email us at support@Bumper.com ATTENTION: SHONILA Additionally, our data includes vehicles after 1981 when the standard 17-digit VIN was created.  Automobiles, motorcycles, trucks and buses may contain vehicle history records. Unfortunately, we don't have history reports for RVs, motorhomes and tractors. We look forward to hearing from you.
  • No longer compatible with iPhone

    I have to let you know I’ve used this app for a long time and loved it. I work in the auto hail repair industry and all my reps use it. Until now. In the last month there seems to be a glitch and I can no longer scan a VIN or manually enter a license plate number without getting an error. We used to use it to find the value of a vehicle but now it is useless. I have sent several messages to tech support and their response is to use chrome operating system. If you are not compatible with iPhone, you shouldn’t have an app in the Apple App Store. Steer clear of this one till they fix the bug. My next message will be to Apple.

  • Multiple cancellations

    Had to cancel through phone when I was randomly billed Dec of 2023 and Jan of 2024 even when cancelled. Mind you I used the app once signed up $1 free trial of nov 2022 to be billed $20 by the a.i that pulled up nothing for a vehicle check, so I cancelled then. And somehow reactivated my account through another free trial?
  • Seems intentionally difficult to cancel

    I like most people probably only needed to use this once. Was hard to find how to cancel my trial/subscription and rather than just push a button you have to call or email. Pretty obnoxious.

  • Scammy Tactics

    Only way to cancel the subscription is to call or email them. No email given when membership is about to renew and overall seemed like they were just trying to be a “hidden subscription” that goes unnoticed as they bleed your wallet.

  • A fraudulent scam application

    They make you think they gonna charge you a dollar at the beginning and when they get your credit card you’re fukd they keep charging you even if you didn’t use their service or didn’t subscribe they will still charge you

  • Awesome Awesome Site

    I used it to find my next car I was going to buy. For a 40th the price of CARFAX I was able to use the free trial and see it’s history. They even made cancelling very easy so though I gave them $1 in total for the free trial they were very kind in cancellation and helped me find my car that I am so happy about. Thank you.
