Won’t even let you sign in
I can automatically sing in on Aventon website but this same password and email gets rejected from the app. Typing in manually also doesn’t work.

App functions might work. Not sure that that can overcome their initial fatal flaw:
I bought a bike off their website, created an account, accumulated a bunch of affinity points, and yet…
Their app requires a NEW account be created, so all affinity points accrued are effectively trapped in their legacy location and all new affinity points accrue in the app. Given the price of these bikes, that’s not trivial.
How on earth, in 2022, can you build an app that does not tie into your existing customer account base for authentication? Poor planning at the most rudimentary level. App auth and web auth are two unique entities in their minds. I can’t even fathom.eTrojan
Worst development ever!
Bought brand new in box bike from Best Buy. Attempted to pair to be told it was already paired. Contacted Aventon customer service to be told the app is designed this way and I need to contact the store and have “whoever paired my bike to their phone to disconnect”. Other option is to return the bike that took hours to put together and remove the fenders and rack I put on it. Bike was shipped from Texas to Pa. No excuse for not being able to disassociate this from another. It is not a must have app to ride the bike and it is not a theft prevention technique. This is poor development!hockeyplayer5

Serious Problems
The bikes are great but the app which is one of their selling points is not. Download the app, open it up and read the comments and complaints and you will see what I’m talking about. Unfortunately Aventon does not seem like they are trying to fix any of the issues and so it appears that people are just putting up with it and accepting it because the bikes are really very good.JoBuck19
Bike app
I luv my Aventon bike, best bike I have purchased, the app, not so much. Unfortunately it doesn’t always record, even though it is connected. I rode 40 miles and got credit for 0 🥲so disappointing. It also doesn’t show your daily distance it is completely blank. I don’t recommend this app but do however recommend the bikeMcFad1
Won’t sync-internal server error
I updated the app, deleted it, redownloaded. Tried to add a new device or sync the existing one. Nothing works. Just stays “disconnected” and when trying to sync “internal server error.” ☹️Buttercup31

Great bike just what I was looking for.. not too hunky more like my trek hybrid but with assistance up hills and inclines. Would be nice if calories functioned properly and sync with iwatch like other exercise apps ! All in one instead of using multiple apps to get data2indie
$4000 for bikes
It’s a shame you may $4,000.00 for your bikes and can’t get an app to work! You can be on a ride thinking it’s recording you just to find out it stopped several miles back! Horrible! 🤬Poo3!
Internal server error
Since I’ve received my $2,000 bike I have not been able to change my speed limit because of an internal server error has yet to be fixed on the appRafae1 Garcia
