Amazing mop awful app
Let me start by saying this is by far the best robot mop on the market. I’m coming from a guy who tried the roomba m6 and while the s9 is still the best vac, the m6 is not the best mop. It mostly just pushed dirty water after spraying but still better than the wet pad mops that just drag a wet pad. Now with that being said, the app is lousy. Can’t custom name rooms, can’t use Alexa or google assistant, can’t see the map of what was cleaned. So many issues with this app. It’s also ugly with an awful user interface. Aside from the app, the mop is great!

Needs more work
I cannot share the robot with a family member. There’s a typo that says to enter the email number. I tried both email and mobile number and nothing works. Also having problems with network connectivity. The robot keeps want to automatically connect to its personal WiFi and not to my home WiFi, even when I try troubleshooting.

Great robot, decent app
Maybe the app has improved lately, but I don’t get all the hate. I think the app is doing all that it needs to. However, it does need some UX refinements, especially messages in English. The layout isn’t the most intuitive either. Maps interface is a little clunky. It’s definitely not as nice as iRobot’s app but it has some great features. I love the live robot tracking feature. All in all a good app.
Docking one star for lack of scheduling. Also narwal needs to open up its api so we can run automations.

Needs improvement
The product is incredible but the app could take some hints from the iRobot app which is incredible. This maps your home but has strange limits on how you can divide a section (ex I don’t want my entire kitchen mopped, just the high traffic entry way… but I can’t do that on the app since it doesn’t let me split the room to allow this.. but does allow other rooms to be split). Also there is no automatic scheduling which seems like a basic add-on. Hopefully future versions will improve.

Great robot, terrible app
Did not have the Phoenix, Arizona time zone available.
No custom room nicknames, and the presets are few and strange. There’s balcony but not dining room?
Although there’s a button called “schedule” I’m only allowed to pick how many times the robot will clean each room. There’s no way to set a cleaning schedule (weirdly enough there used to be according to Tech Hives review from May 2021).

Good robot but Bad app
Connection with the robot has been seemingly random. I can occasionally control it remotely if I’m luck.
