  • Force upgrades awful decision app makers

Imagine using my BLUETTI at my campsite [with no freaking internet/cellular] and I launch the app on my phone to check the status/etc. and the app doesn’t work because of a force upgrade pop up THAT WONT LET YOU USE THE APP UNTIL A FORCE UPDATE HAPPENS. the app still WOULD work without the freaking update that has not bug fixes but “UI ENHANCEMENTS”. Terrible brain dead decision.

  • Okay, but could be better

It does what I need it to, in that I can monitor battery levels and PV/shore power inputs, and toggle AC/DC on/off.

    A few improvements would help:
I’m always needing to re-pair the Bluetooth connection. Like nearly every time, it can’t find the unit which is close by.

Please don’t make updates mandatory on your timeline. With the update 2 days ago, it wouldn’t let me into the app until it did the software update. I frequently use my unit in off-grid situations. I was lucky I had cell service when the update was forced through. There was no way to bypass the update and use the app, which would have left me in a pickle had I been out of civilization.

Also, I miss the water level battery indicator. It was fun. The new dial is okay, but I miss the old one.

  • Inconsistent

App connectivity is very inconsistent via both Bluetooth and WiFi. Not all options are available to see and manipulate via the app compared to the console screen of the Bluetti solgen. No Apple Silicon support for those with M1 or M2 Macs. I would love to be able to run the app on my M1 MacBook.
  • Easy access

Seems to work fine. I am on phone data. I rebooted my iPad, clicked on app icon, then clicked "connect" App opened with my unit. Guess they "fixed " the multi step process others complained about. Upgrades loaded fine, settings also. EB3A device.
  • Good but not to BLUETTI standard yet.

I’m using this with an EB3A which is a good product, but the App should display % run time and to full charge. They should both also display VDC as well. But this is a great start.
    3.5 Stars.
  • Does not work with AC200P

App instructions refer to manual, which has no further instructions. Disappointing in a product I just bought! Such basic functionality is missing!
  • Good, but can be better

When your safety and well-being rely on your power back equipment , been able to fully manage it is a must. The app is good but too basic.

Please, add notifications (power off/on, on battery, battery low, battery fully charged, etc.). Hey check your competitors apps, add basic info like estimated time to fully charge, estimated time to fully discharge, some basic stats of power-in vs power-out, etc.

The app is good but it can be great.

  • Ac200max

Recent update makes it so I can’t login to my account with no cell service. This unit is for a camper so I almost never have cell service at camp. I can still login as a guest and view unit but can’t turn on/off outputs. Now I have to use the display screen like a Neanderthal. Ac200max is awesome app is poor.

  • Flakey and disconnect issues

The app is a step forward in managing updates and monitoring of the new Bluetti power systems however connecting through Bluetooth should not be the only way to get updates this facility should be available over Wi-Fi as well…
The Bluetooth connectivity is spotty at best… I regularly have to power down and power back up the AC 300 in order to clear errors that indicate I’m too far away or there is no AC 300 within range when I’m 2 feet away… The app should also have push capability to alert when new updates are available when it’s flaky at best trying to find out new BMS updates or firmware can be tricky… I hope the app matures and is updated so far I don’t see a lot of improvement

  • Tedious to use

This app is poorly designed and is tedious to use. Firstly, EVERY SINGLE TIME you open the app you must 1) click connect 2) click the next connect box which pops up 3) wait for it to search Bluetooth for devices 4) click your device from the choices 5) wait while it connects 6) hit OK after it connects 7) finally the information loads. You have to do this every single time! It doesn’t remember your device, it doesn’t pair, it’s horribly slow and labor intensive. The linked batteries don’t show up in the app unless you push their power buttons every single time. Actually they don’t charge unless you do the same as well, so every morning to get my batteries to charge from I must manually start them… It is a horrible implementation of what could have been a great idea. So much for set and forget…
