  • Guarantee management doesn’t display anything

    Although my fridge has 10 year warranty I see message “Something went wrong. Please try again to get the latest state of your request” and a button “Try again”. Tapping the button produces the same message.

    The app is also just too basic.

  • Worst app ever

    Can’t even add the wine cellar to the app
    Both are connected but keep getting error message

  • I had high hopes, but it’s just a big letdown

    Aside from major trials and tribulations just trying to receive the Liebherr SmartDeviceBox (ordered it three times, first two times received the wrong part and had to hook up with Miguel Rodriguez of Encompass.com to get the correct SmartDeviceBox) and get the darned thing to connect to the app (which had steps that were not included in the instructions, but I was able to figure out from a background in IT). That said, this review is about the app and why it’s a letdown. It does allow me to control the fridge and freezer temps, SuperCool, SuperFrost, IceMaker, BottleTimer, PartyMode, NightMode, and HolidayMode, but that’s it. No power on/off, power failure reset, device settings, etc. These functions still need to be actuated from the physical control panel. So, as for the internet of things goes on this device, it’s a letdown for $150.00 for the SmartDeviceBox and the hassle of trying to get it installed. 2 stars as there’s so much potential and much ado for very little.

  • Easy to fit and use

    Not a must have obviously but a nice to have. Was a little worried about fitting it but actually is was fairly simple. Connection once fitted took no time at all so all up and working in less than 10mins.
    Tested a few bits like alarm And yes sure enough Instantly notified. Same with bottle timer.

    Basically of course not needed but much easier to use than controls on actual fridge as just one button to press for anything and you don’t have to have the fridge open !!

    So for me thumbs up !

  • No low temp warning

    A couple of times the temps have risen in the freezer - once due slightly open door and another for unknown reason. But no alert warning of increased temp (-4)

  • What’s happened to the bottle timer function?

    It was useful. It’s gone. Update: unplugged the fridge and plugged it back in. It has come back.

  • Nonfunctional - embarrassing for such a large company

    The support person is friendly but that doesn’t excuse a disaster of an app. It simply doesn’t work - 9 times out of 10 it cannot control the functions of the fridge/freezer. This is not a difficult problem to solve in 2023. Let’s get it fixed ASAP.

  • Really bad and stupid and dumb

    This is the worst possible app, do not get this product, it wants you to connect it to wifi and it wants your address?????? WHY WOULD I WANT A FRIDGE THT PRIMARILY WORKS ON MY PHONE and why does it need to know my email and where I live?. Over complicated, this is terrible. Boo. Thumbs down. (This may sound like satire but it is really dumb)

    Hello lil pold, thank you for your feedback. Giving the adress is optional, only mail and password is required for the registration. The app offers additonal value and comfort for your appliance.
