  • Food has gone down hill

    We got here and there was no pot roast in the pan and no fried Okra and very little mashed potatoes. There was no macaroni and cheese and there was only 3 broken pieces of fried catfish. There was only 2 pieces of fried chicken. The man told me it would be 6-8 minutes for the roast and so I had to go sit down and wait. There were no lemons on the salad bar but the lady filled the lemon bucket up when I asked if they had more. The few rolls they had were cold. The last visit was not good either. I just saw and heard a lady customer walk by me going to her table to sit down and she stopped at the managers office door and told him there wasn’t much food on the bar and it’s gotten bad here. I told the lady this place is going down hill and she and her husband agreed. I don’t know if we will be back any time soon. It’s really sad how this visit and the last visit were.

  • Saturday Night Dinner

    Arrived at restaurant just before 6:00p.m. And dinner rush. A friendly greeting, paid, directed to my table. Greeted quickly by Yalonda, introduced herself. Then offered me a booth or table and then sat me and got my drink order. Directed me towards buffet with instructions to enjoy and get started. By the time I got back with my salad and nacho appetizer, she had my drink there. Came by to check on me just after I sat and started in on my salad. Every time by my table, Yalonda checked how I was doing or refilled my water. As I emptied my 2 plates, salad and appetizers, she cleared them away. I then went for my entrees, twice getting different varieties, and Yalonda continued to check on me. Then I decided to indulge in dessert. Once done, she checked to makes sure dinner was a success. On my way out, she thanked me and wished me a good evening. A pleasure to have had Yalonda as my server. Thank you for such friendly, beautiful smile and great attention.

  • Good service and an abundance of choices.

    Salad bar with spinach, ice berg lettuce, romaine. multiple topping selections available. Some include Deviled eggs, beets, Tomatoes sunflower seeds, raisins, crumbled bacon bits, broccoli, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, seafood salad, choices of chopped fruit pieces. Soups: Timberland chili, chicken noodle and broccoli cheese. Steak after 4:00. Fried chicken, ribs, sausage, hamburgers, pulled pork, pizza. Mushrooms, sautéed onions etc then comes the dessert area. Pecan, blueberry, apple pies. Jello, cheese cake, carrot cake etc and ice cream. End the meal with a cup of decaf coffee or a cup of tea. If you leave with an empty stomach it’s your choice. Opportunity knocking open that door an enjoy a great meal which will definitely please everyone in the family.
