Terrible App
First and foremost, Apple Pay never works with this app. Apple Pay is so convenient, but I’m stuck with entering card details when I use this app.
Secondly, this app creates a very visceral response when I’m trying to get it to stay on delivery as opposed to takeout. If I leave the checkout page and I come back to it and don’t re-rick the setting for delivery, I’m stuck with a carry out order. I’m annoyed because then I have to either just go and pick it up or call the restaurant to change the order. It’s extremely tedious. I don’t know why there’s simply an option to change it from carry out to delivery. I can never understand how app developers are paid so much to offer such little for these apps. It’s annoying that we have apps that can simply function to do the things we need it to do and I’m stuck triple-checking the details.
Update 1: The app is still bad. I had a deal for a free pizza to redeem. I added another pizza and then it cleared the cart. When I started over. Somehow at checkout, I was charged with three pizzas. HOW does this happen? I don’t understand why this app has to be so dysfunctional. They could fix the issues but every screen is literally them trying to stuff a deal in your face especially for deals you don’t want from other companies or apps.Show lessUnable to contact anyone
Part of my order was not delivered today. I was instructed by the delivery person that the store did not have what I ordered and to call them to get a refund. I called several times selecting option 3 to report something wrong with my order, and they kept hanging up on me. I pressed 1 to see if that would get me through to someone and sure enough someone answered. I explained my order was not complete and I was transferred to someone else for help. That person told me she could not issue a refund. I asked why they could not return my money for something that was never delivered. No business should be able to steal costumers’ money when they don’t have what you ordered. I was once again transferred to a district manager and after over 12 minutes waiting on the phone to resolve this I got was a message to leave a voicemail. I left a message and expect a call back. I’ve been trying the app to contact someone else and it keeps kicking me out and requesting that I sign in over and over again. My dinner is cold and I’m upset at the shady business practices. Theft is theft, even if it’s just $4. If they are willing to lose a customer over $4, then this means they are making a profit stealing from costumers here and there, and it’s very lucrative for them. Personally, I tipped the driver more than that but it’s the way the entire situation was treated from the beginning that has completely ruined my perception of this business.Show lessNothing but problems
So I tried to order from delivery, when I called to order I was taken to some call center where they asked questions like my address and such. I was disconnected twice. Just hung up. I was t rude but after the third attempt I finally was put through to my local Pizza Hut. And then they asked the same questions the last people asked. After I entered the address I was told they don’t deliver in my area. Less than .2 miles away. Said they can’t cross the hwy. don’t understand what that means as they would be driving under the hwy getting in the service road making a u-turn then staying in the service road to get to us. Crazy. So then I try to call another one less than 2 miles away. Finally gave up and drove there. Once there the guy taking my order said his computer system is not working. So he had to go to the drive through and place my order. After getting my items I noticed they had forgot my break sticks. I wasn’t waiting g any longer and just accepted it. This happened last time I ordered (which was delivered). Dasher called me to tell me they didn’t have any pasta. After back and forth between me, the dasher, and the employee we finally got the order in. Once I received my order it was missing a wing order for the big bog and the wings I ordered separately. I just can’t understand how the whole company is so bad. Not sure I’ll ever try and order Pizza Hut again.Show less
