  • Terrible App

    First and foremost, Apple Pay never works with this app. Apple Pay is so convenient, but I’m stuck with entering card details when I use this app.

    Secondly, this app creates a very visceral response when I’m trying to get it to stay on delivery as opposed to takeout. If I leave the checkout page and I come back to it and don’t re-rick the setting for delivery, I’m stuck with a carry out order. I’m annoyed because then I have to either just go and pick it up or call the restaurant to change the order. It’s extremely tedious. I don’t know why there’s simply an option to change it from carry out to delivery. I can never understand how app developers are paid so much to offer such little for these apps. It’s annoying that we have apps that can simply function to do the things we need it to do and I’m stuck triple-checking the details.

    Update 1: The app is still bad. I had a deal for a free pizza to redeem. I added another pizza and then it cleared the cart. When I started over. Somehow at checkout, I was charged with three pizzas. HOW does this happen? I don’t understand why this app has to be so dysfunctional. They could fix the issues but every screen is literally them trying to stuff a deal in your face especially for deals you don’t want from other companies or apps.

  • Unable to contact anyone

    Part of my order was not delivered today. I was instructed by the delivery person that the store did not have what I ordered and to call them to get a refund. I called several times selecting option 3 to report something wrong with my order, and they kept hanging up on me. I pressed 1 to see if that would get me through to someone and sure enough someone answered. I explained my order was not complete and I was transferred to someone else for help. That person told me she could not issue a refund. I asked why they could not return my money for something that was never delivered. No business should be able to steal costumers’ money when they don’t have what you ordered. I was once again transferred to a district manager and after over 12 minutes waiting on the phone to resolve this I got was a message to leave a voicemail. I left a message and expect a call back. I’ve been trying the app to contact someone else and it keeps kicking me out and requesting that I sign in over and over again. My dinner is cold and I’m upset at the shady business practices. Theft is theft, even if it’s just $4. If they are willing to lose a customer over $4, then this means they are making a profit stealing from costumers here and there, and it’s very lucrative for them. Personally, I tipped the driver more than that but it’s the way the entire situation was treated from the beginning that has completely ruined my perception of this business.

  • Nothing but problems

    So I tried to order from delivery, when I called to order I was taken to some call center where they asked questions like my address and such. I was disconnected twice. Just hung up. I was t rude but after the third attempt I finally was put through to my local Pizza Hut. And then they asked the same questions the last people asked. After I entered the address I was told they don’t deliver in my area. Less than .2 miles away. Said they can’t cross the hwy. don’t understand what that means as they would be driving under the hwy getting in the service road making a u-turn then staying in the service road to get to us. Crazy. So then I try to call another one less than 2 miles away. Finally gave up and drove there. Once there the guy taking my order said his computer system is not working. So he had to go to the drive through and place my order. After getting my items I noticed they had forgot my break sticks. I wasn’t waiting g any longer and just accepted it. This happened last time I ordered (which was delivered). Dasher called me to tell me they didn’t have any pasta. After back and forth between me, the dasher, and the employee we finally got the order in. Once I received my order it was missing a wing order for the big bog and the wings I ordered separately. I just can’t understand how the whole company is so bad. Not sure I’ll ever try and order Pizza Hut again.

  • Order never ready

    Man I want to cancel this order since I waited 15 min before going to the store, and then they said they have a new system, and don’t have my order yet or any orders on the screen. I drove back home asking them to call me when it’s ready. They wanted me to wait in store another 15-20 min for my order that they didn’t receive. Didn’t ask what the order was but had a stack of cash at the counter looking like they were just getting to the store to open it. Although there were no orders there was someone in the back making someone’s order.. maybe that was just for himself? I wasn’t even going to order pizza but today but Dominoes was supposed to also be open at 10:30 but was not open. I spend a lot of money on pizza on a regular basis but I am ready to reconsider all that since .. 1 “. I can’t ever get my order on time. They always say 15 min but … it’s never ready until about 30 min or more, 2. The options or more page never has enough characters to leave a request like cut in squares and put the cheese on top of the toppings please. I always tip even though I am picking up the pizza and I am sure these people are being paid hourly.. plus tips? For checking people out who pick up their own food.? I expect my pizza to be done and done right but I hardly ever have cheese on top of the toppings , I always get 2/4 boneless chicken wings that look like a piece of breading with hardly any meat. As you can tell I am super fed up with Pizza Hut

  • Do Better

    I've been a long-time fan of Pizza Hut's food, but recent experiences with their online platforms have left me deeply disappointed. For months now, the app has been malfunctioning, and even the website won't allow for a smooth ordering process. It's baffling to think that a company with the scale and revenue of Pizza Hut struggles to maintain a functional website and app, especially given that online ordering is currently one of the primary methods customers use to place their orders.

    Furthermore, when trying to bypass the online chaos and directly call the local branch, the wait time is exorbitant – often exceeding two hours. And even after navigating through all these hurdles, the delivery process is yet another pain point. Every time my order is out for delivery, it’s through a DoorDash representative who invariably calls to ask for delivery instructions, despite those being explicitly detailed on my Pizza Hut account.

    While I genuinely appreciate and like the food, the surrounding service and convenience aspects have plummeted. It's an emotional roller coaster every time I try to place an order. Sadly, until Pizza Hut addresses these glaring issues, I will have to consider patronizing another pizza establishment that values its customers' time and experience.

  • My order Friday, May 26, 2023 was my first time ordering on my iPhone.

    It took me a little bit to figure out but then it was OK I finally got through. I ordered the chicken pasta, Alfredo pasta, cheese sticks, apple pies, cinnamon rolls minis, two Dr. peppers, two mug root beers. The driver his name was Clarence were so nice and helped me to the door because it was a load I will say this that every item was hot and ready to eat and believe it or not it always for me. Lol but that way I will have some more for tonight, and tomorrow for lunch and probably for supper. I haven’t had Pizza Hut in a while and it was delicious very very good. Now I have a question I am on ELYSIAN FIELDS and eventually I will be back into Metairie Louisiana, will I still be able to use my app once I’m back in Metairie Louisiana? Whoever reads this can either email me or text me I’d appreciate it. But like I said nothing was greasy it was so good in fact I’m getting ready to eat my apple pie with a cup of hot tea. Thank you Pizza Hut keep up the good work! And thank you Clarence the driver he was very kind. Bye-bye for now!! 🫶🏻🥰

  • Rate my service.

    The app needs to have rate my service because it was so much wrong with tonight order which is a first time for me because Pizza Hut is already on point with my food, they never let me down until tonight. First it took the delivery driver 30 mins to deliver from the time I got the text saying your order is out for delivery. It should not take that long because I only live 10 mins from Pizza Hut, the longest we have ever waited for delivery. The pizza and the chicken was cold. The chicken came in a container without a lid, which is different. And the pizza wasn’t evenly cooked, very doughy to the point that I just wasted $50 on food that my family will not eat. Very unhappy at this point. We asked for no contact delivery and our delivery driver still knocked on our door which set off our dog and woke the baby up. And final our pizza box was not sealed properly with Pizza Hut stickers/ logo to let me know that my food has not been touched, coughed on or sneezed on, if y’all don’t do the sticker anymore please go back to using it, I would feel more safer. The app needs to have a way to communicate with the store because they do not answer when calling this late at night. Thanks for the cold pizza and chicken. Pizza Hut please do better next time.

  • DONT NOT DOWNLOAD SCAM

    This app is a scam and i’m greatly disappointed. I ordered from the pizza hut nearest to me in Houston, and My food was completely stolen. On top of that the person delivering my food sent me a link saying my food was cancelled. After my food was stolen I called the pizza hut store in that same location. I was put on hold by a co worker and the manager. After being on hold for so long, The Co worker told the manager in a annoyed tone of voice “Oh my god their still on the phone”. After about 20 more minutes on hold they eventually just hung up in my face, after i already told the co worker everything going on, and I don’t even think the co worker told the manager what was going on. I called Customer Service that transferred me back to the store in which I was put on hold and hung up on AGAIN. Then I tried to leave feedback and contact pizza hut through the app, and to my surprise the Pizza Hut app has disabled me from using the feedback and help option which is very crazy, I have a screen recording of being put on hold, then being hung up on by the pizza hut, I have proof of the Cancelled order link sent to me by the fake delivery person, I have all the proof of being refused the help that I needed regarding my stolen food. I’ve never written a review in my life but I don’t want anyone else to potentially have the same experience as me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THE APP ORDER DIRECTLY FROM THE STORE ,THE DELIVERIES ARE LITERALLY THROUGH DOORDASHERS

  • This app is awful mostly

    This app is by far the most bugged app ever, it never works so you can’t redeem the points you’ve earned. I’ve earned a lot of points and it takes me over an hour sometimes to order having to go in and reset passwords and then the store doesn’t communicate with the app so you can’t just call the store to use points. I’m so frustrated with this thing half the time I just say forget it and order somewhere else. I really want to use my points and order other things with them for friends and family but the bugs on this app are horrific and there’s no customer service to speak of.

    Fix this app ASAP and you might actually get more business. This thing might work once a month. Thank goodness when I do order it records points I’ve spent at the store I just wish I could call the store to use points instead of having to use the website that always throws an error when checking out, or the app who won’t let you log in throwing some error about Json, I don’t know who this Jason guy is but he needs to get out of my app so I can use it!

  • Please update app for topping selection for baked pasta

    Please update app and allow folks to alter toppings on the baked pastas, and allow marinara sauces to go out with breadsticks. We order the baked pasta for two and always have to ask for two marinara sauces, you certainly do not expect my wife and I to share one sauce when we split the breadsticks that comes with the deal. We absolutely love that meal deal… I get the meats and she gets the veggie.. need to update the app the be able to remove toppings and to allow the store to adjust this item as well. We ran into issue with our last visit in Gloucester, Va.. where I called the store right as I was ordering on the app, asking not to include olives or green peppers, in place of that please add extra mushrooms. When I got to the store, hers had olives in it. Say if I did not look at the order, and when I got home, wife would have ripped me a new one… so please correct the system and that store so when I call, we can edit the order. I left my last review with this information as well as calling the corporate customer service number and spoke to someone there as well.. as a solution please DO NOT remove the baked pasta as we love them, just fix the app and your store policy (per that store manager) unable to change on their screens. Thank your loyal and long time customer.
