Works for me!

Delayed installing because of bad reviews but then had to since old app disconnected from device and I was told I had to use new one. I have 2 thermostats (upstairs and downstairs on 2 zone system). Installation went smoothly and setting up schedules was simpler than old one. Been a week with no problems so fingers crossed going forward. I have issues with the thermostat but they aren’t the fault of the app.

Bosch EasyAir App

I’ve been prompted several times to download this app. Believe me I have tried. The app does not work. Beyond setting up a password, when you go to the next prompt, the screen goes blank and stays blank. Shopping for new Thermostat.

UPDATE: I restarted my phone after installing this app and it works great .

Total failure

I login with sitekey and then blank screen. After about 10 tries and reinstalling, blank screen. Last week my 4 bcc100 thermostats were kicked out of the Bosch app… the latest release of Easy Air, same issue ☹️

Pretty but Dumb

Two basic features missing that are so essential to this kind of app as to hardly be worth mentioning:
- account for daylight savings when setting the device time
- allow manual schedule override

As is always the case with bottom up rewrites, this one misses a few critical spots

Worse than previous app

Slower, too many clicks, and doesn’t always register changes. I’ve come back hours later to find that my AC was off even though I turned it on. You have to “submit” changes, and apparently they’re not always accepted.

Missing green update status from old app; old connected app was better

On the old, connected, app, when you opened the app there would be a green arrow that would disappear and then reappear, in order to indicate that you are looking at the current status of the setting and the room temperature. That green status arrow is not on the new app, so when you open the app you just have to kind of wait about 15 seconds to see if it updates the numbers you are looking at, and there is no way to know once it has actually done that. Just more cumbersome and another example of what many of the other reviewers are saying, to the effect that the “new and improved“ app is inferior to the old one. It is remarkable that companies feel a need to update their apps, and make them worse. All the more frustrating when you’ve spent five figures on a new system. It should be an easy fix to do an update to this app to put the green arrow or some other indicator on the main display to show you once it is done synchronizing with your thermostat over Wi-Fi.

From bad to worse

I had previously used the Bosch Connected Control app, however I was told by Bosch that I needed to switch.

Connected Control was bad, this is worse. No ability to monitor air filter schedule, no settings adjustments that are offered on the thermostat itself. Scheduling is clunky at best. The app doesn’t show last updated when viewing the thermostat, so I have no idea if it’s accurate or just telling me what the thermostat showed from the last time I viewed it. At times, the app opens with WiFi errors, sometimes just a page that shows the temperature with no buttons to adjust.

Overall, makes me wish I never would have purchased a Bosch HVAC or thermostat so I could go with another product with a functioning app.

App is terrible

Compared to the old Bosch app, this is a poorly thought out “upgrade”. Not that I was a fan of the previous app, but this has taken several steps backward. I can not even set a schedule to cool below 75 degrees! But you can cool to 95! Think it through developers!

Unusable

Everything it asks me to do to setup my thermostat results in a blank white screen. I restart the app and try again and get one step further and then a blank white screen again. This app was not ready for prime time.

Worthless, don’t buy a connected system

After three months, still can’t get on the app. Indicates already associated and tech support has been worthless working the problem.
