I hate the buses
Here’s why, so I got the bus to school on my own for the first time. You know where the bank is that heads towards mendip? I pressed the bell to get off at that stop right? And he didn’t stop. So obviously I just thought he was taking me to the path where the schools is bc sometimes the bus drivers do that right. And he went past that. I was confused and started panicking. The bus took me into Chester le street and that’s when I started crying. It dropped me off a bus stand in Chester and I was stuck in Chester for 20 minutes. I was at the bus stand on the floor having a panic attack because I didn’t have any change left to get on another bus so obviously I was just stuck there. Until this group of hermitage girls saw me. They came up to me and they were really nice. One of the girls said “what’s wrong?” So I told them what was wrong. Then one of the girls said “I’ll give you a pound so you can get on the next bus that takes you up to Newker” you should’ve seewn my face tho. Literally I thought they were gonna be mean but they gave me spare change to get on the bus. The driver who didn’t drop me off should get fired. I’m only in year 6, I’m only 10 and this could’ve been dangerous for me if I got kidnapped while in Chester or worse. one star review. The bus was 34 Waldridge Park.

The Go North East app is essential for regular passengers. Real time tracking information is so useful and almost always accurate. It’s simple to see and buy all of the tickets on offer - the GNE app never lets me down!
Appalling
Used for the first time today it was rubbish. It started out ok but on my return journey I had to log out as it was telling me my account had been temporarily suspended??? Tried logging in with the password that I had used previously and was told incorrect login details. So used forgot password link got the email, reset password, returned to login page and re entered new details and got the same error incorrect login details. Tried this a couple of times same results. Shocking app.

Very good
Could improve if they actually put on the app if a bus was cancelled instead of just disappearing but apart from that it’s extremely helpful in keeping up to date with the buses

Hello - once you click the star on a bus stop, journey or timetable, this will then enter your favourites. You can then access these quickly by pressing the menu button in the top left and then clicking on 'Favourites'. Once you're up and running, please consider updating your review.
Fast efficient services
Love the whole experience everything works like clockwork for me connecting buses running on time most of the time is all that can be expected!
Apple Watch bus times
The bus times on the Apple Watch are cut off by the screen if it is anything 10mins or over it’s hard to make out when the bus will be to plan the journey. It would be a quick fix to get this done, just move it back to where it was as this must be a bug.
App never works when you really need it .
The apps always having issues. Sometimes ot wont load. Sometimes it wont load busses tracking . Sometimes it wont load the bus stops or it wont load the timetable. And the worst one. Is it says a bus is due even when that bus is coming off the route. So it will say bus due in 25 mins . The bus will show up and they take the buss off the route and you have to wait another 30 mins . The app should know this is happening and not didplay the that the bus is due. Weather its gona show ip or not if we cant get on it dont ahow it as available ive missed atleast 10 busses that eould have gotten me home because of this stupid fycjing glitch

This service is a disgrace it used to be every 1/2 hour now once a hour sat at Tyne view retail park for just short of a hour with frozen food in my bag and someone’s hot lunch that is now freezing cold ,you can’t rely on this service at all and no where near another stop to walk too ,it says might not run to schedule why not advertise you don’t run at all and couldn’t give a ….

Terrible
This update is awful very disappointing, the bus tracking especially it shows too large of an area, hardly any street names and the shows a dozen buses when all you want to know is your specific bus, the old format was a 100% better. I go to work very early and I don’t want to be at bus stop in the dark on my own so relied on tracking to leave in time so that didn’t happen now I’ll have to take my chances because of an app!!! I know a lot of people who used the app for same reasons and are just as baffled as I am. If it’s not broke don’t fix it!!!
