Expansion pack does not work
I paid for the expansion pack garden version, it will not open. It would open on occasion with my old iPad, now that I have a new iPad it completely does not work. I cannot find a way to get it fixed or get my money back.barbhop
Summer garden expansion pack
Update: with a prompt reply to my concerns, the app team had me up and running and enjoying the beautiful garden quickly. Thank you, it’s so pretty and peaceful.
I also bought the summer garden expansion pack and I can’t open it without paying again….I love the cottage, I know I’ll love the garden, well I think I will. I need to be able to play it before I can know though! 😢Show lessTopaz-Onyx
Wheres my $4.99?
I spent $4.99 for the Country Garden thinking it would be an improvement over the disappointing games of the house. The puzzles don’t work beyond 12 oints. I wrote to the company and they said to be patient. That was quite some time ago and othing has improved. Basically, I was charged $4.99 for a card game available elsewhere for free. Wish there were more games
I love the graphics, but I really thought more game options would appear as I “cleaned up”. I agree with a lot of the other comments the points earned did not seem to balance well with the “cost” of improvements and is even worse once you get to the point of redecorating. I enjoy the 10-up solitaire game, but tend play the the crystals game when trying to earn points... it seems to be a better return on my time. I absolutely LOVE the word scrabble game in the new garden add-on, although I do have to keep a crossword app open. Even if you know the word there may be more than one option… and only one will work to make all the words.
One suggestion on the garden and the cottage… add options to change the seasons and decorate the cottage for holidays.Show lessMyBiddy

There are only 3 boring games to play that earn barely any points. There needs to be more variety of games that earn many more points. There is no way I am going to stick with this game if I can’t even earn enough to make one improvement per day. I would have to play for hours every day to fix up one location. No way.
I love the advent calendar and was hopeful for this app but the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.Show lessLDiggityDog
Big fan
As everyone says, Jacquie Lawson and her team create beautiful cards, calendars etc. BUT they are not gamers. Looks as though the games came from a Microsoft package designed in the '90's. Very disappointing plus the algorithms are designed to make sure one fails a lot! The Country Cottage is particularly frustrating. I am good at solitaire but I can't beat the algorithm. The cottage and the garden are delightful, BUT a very limited amount of catalogue choices. What if one wanted to cover the couch and chair in the same style? No luck! The garden is beautiful though I do recognize several 'looks' from the cards. Again, more plant choices please. Right now I have close to 5000 points a nothing to spend them on. So disappointed. Every time I want to go on this app of country gardens, I get the picture, have got 3 add to pics, but cannot go further because you can’t get to games or anything else.

Same problem of not “remembering” I bought the expansion
The “restore purchases” button on the main screen does not work at all, and it keeps asking me to buy again when I already have and played it yesterday. Contacted help and they suggest usual stuff like deleting and reinstalling, but this obviously is not our device problem. Don’t buy before they fix it!Show lessMugwhumps

Bought the country garden expansion pack three times and have the same issue says it’s bought I play with it once and then cannot accessit again. I contacted Jacqui Lawson directly and they seem to be unaware of the problem does anyone actually do anything with these reviewsRemie Bemmie

I bought this and yet every time I try to play,it says to buy it,when I try to again,it keeps giving me a retry screen. You could either fix it or refund my money and I’ll go buy it direct. Not very impressed with this service.case55
