I am really confused and not happy
I wanted the summer garden but learned i first needed the country house so i got it and worked my thru it. Then i proceeded to the summer garden and was unable to do anything. Tried reactivating it etc with no success. In frustration, i pushed the cottage button that said restore purchases. Now i am back to square one. Please help me out, the faqs were useless to me, or refund my purchase. Might be best to just provide a refund.Show lessbeansatplay
Definite problems with add-on
Purchased garden add-on but, after iPad has ‘slept’, gone back to saying I need to purchase it and some things that had been done in the main game have reverted.
Appears to be a problem with saving the configuration data.
Disappointed as, from past experience, JL didn’t seem to be a company that just chucks things out and leaves users to find the problems.Show lessPendlemac
Disappointed
I have the Country Cottage, bought the Summer Garden as soon as it was available, but now I can’t access it even thought I gained 900 points playing its games the first day. It doesn’t recognize that I’ve paid for it, I just get the message to buy it. Followed the directions from the Help team….deleted Country Cottage and downloaded it again….made not difference. Still Takes Too Long to Earn Points
JL responded to my previous review saying they were going to change the point system, so I finally tried the revision and it still too tedious to play the same three games over and over! Since so many have mentioned this, why not just reduce the cost of everything? It would be nice to be able to play a few rounds of games then actually do something.
I don’t know what else the game involves besides cleaning and repairing since it would take me a while to get beyond that if I was motivated to play. It’s got good potential and lovely graphics.Show lessCatnipsy
Country Garden
Upgraded to the country garden yesterday on the App Store but every time i try to log in it’s asking to be purchased again then when I finally get in it starts from the beginning very frustrating.
Purchased again from Jacquie Lawson site everything working perfect will give it 5 stars, lovely colours very vibrant love the different games, also showing purchased underneath the garden now as well.

Games don’t work well
For example, the new games available with the summer garden, such as Spider. I have other versions of Spider, which work very smoothly and quickly. This one is awkward and takes forever. And why do you have to have every spot full before you can deal more cards? That isn’t a thing! It simply slows the game in a pointless way. So disappointing
I played those three games over and over just to get the cottage done. I was determined but really bored. Why on earth was there nothing more to do? Today I decided to buy the garden. I thought maybe since I have to pay for this one it will work better and have more features. Instead it doesn’t work at all. I thought maybe the new games were in the charger so I went in there and played a game and it took all my points away. I still can’t find the new games and the garden doesn’t even seem to have any icons to click to fix things up. It looks like it could be so beautiful but it is just a mess. The website has no instructions except how to buy it. Something is happening at JL I think. A good company going down the tubes.Show lessBoston bucksfan
Un rewarding
While the artwork and the music were up to the usual standard its extremely tedious . You very very soon run out of points to renvate the cottage and playing games issues small points so it looks like months of leisure eaten up . The solitaire is appalling.The cards are hard to read at any speed and tapping them doesnt always get them in place .There is no choice of move most of the time so undoing moves makes little difference .. The gems game is boring after a few goes and the points creep up slowly . Basically there are few rewards for playing . What were you thinking ? Yes an extension will provide some more games but there is nothing to suggest they will be an improvement
And now I have 1300 points on a game and 54 in the cottage. It just gets worseShow lessLuck lynn
Where’d my points go?!!!
I had 53,000 points saved in the main Country Cottage game, planning to spend them all at once to “fix the place up”. Yesterday, I downloaded the new add-on pack for the garden; shortly after it was installed and I opened it, all of my previous/saved points disappeared and I was back at square one!! Needless to say, THAT IS NOT OKAY! Put my points back, please.

Updated new review… I have really been enjoying this since last update. I’m wondering if more games will be added and I see other things coming soon?
I love the idea but you get very few points when you’ve played a game. The worst part is I have won a game and due to technical difficulties I never received points for it. This has happened quite a few times. I love the idea of this. It would be nice if points would actually be added and I will give this more stars. My daughter also has finished the cottage and now cannot get back into it. It stays frozen and says logging on. I noticed another review stating the same thing.Show lessIreland222

New version 1.2 available now! Scoring system improved, no limit on points score per day. Future releases will include new games, puzzles and other pastimes – please bear with us!
