User friendly app

Can’t fault anything about Monument so far. I was a little apprehensive at first, having never heard of them. But I trust Martin Lewis and the invaluable advice he offers us mere mortals.

I’m very pleased with the app as it’s easy to navigate and provides all the info you need in a simple format. The interest rates are very attractive too. So far, so good.

Excellent service.

I sold my house last year and needed to put some money somewhere where it can build a bit of interest with easy access.

The Monument account was super easy to set up and the app is simple to use.
Interest was paid at a good rate and you get notifications when it’s paid in.

When it came to getting money out it was with me in a few quick taps to my nominated account.

This is how banking should be in the 21st century unlike other archaic providers who make you run rings before giving you access to your own money.

All round 5 Star Easy Access Acct

I had some money from a house sale and I needed to put it somewhere with easy access, monthly interest and a good rate. Monument met all my requirements, it was easy to set up and navigate around. Today I needed to withdraw some of the funds and couldn’t believe how easy it was. If you are nervous about saving online.. don’t be, give Monument a try!

Good interest, easy to use

Options are clear and the interest is good. Convenient way to save in the short to mid term. It would be nice to see the compound on a monthly basis but not a big thing as the deposit is fixed anyway.

Savings made easy

I love this app, I can instantly transfer money to my current account. I have other accounts with time restrictions, no weekends etc so this is great

Waiting….

The website states as ‘quick as 10 minutes’ to setup a savings account. I am now on day 3 of waiting to setup an account. Apparent ‘checking identity’ is delaying my account setup. Despite living in the UK for over 40 years and having been on the electoral role, had numerous credit cards, loans, mortgages, UK passport, address etc etc - they still cannot verify my identity! Why can’t app based banks ensure their apps can cope with applications?

I use 9 (!) banking apps - this is straightforward / reliable and has robust security - emails have working links and the menus are simple and it all just actually works - well done

Very easy to use

Great app with access to the accounts and easy use of services which are all explained well. Most importantly for me, it does what it says on the tin (providing savings options and ways to grow wealth) and isn’t diverting into all sorts of other unrelated products. Highly recommended.

Great high interest account

Have been a monument customer since last November & so far I can’t fault their service. Love the app, love the interest I’m receiving on my savings & will continue to save with them in the future. Also when I’ve phoned them, I spoke immediately to a real person who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely consider other services from them.

So easy to use!

I’m not the best at using digital banking but genuinely appreciate that the app is very user friendly so I’m grateful for this service. Do miss human interaction but this is still a quick way to manage my account.
