  • Buyer Beware!

    I ordered a book for a friend’s birthday. Worked on it for 20 hours gathering dozens of photos and personal messages from friends for this special gift. Ordered the heavy $$ paper etc. etc. The book arrived and had the WORST CHEMICAL SMELL. Awful and certainly something you would never give to a friend. I contacted customer service and they agreed to reprint and promised the smell would be gone on the 2nd printing and it would arrive on time for the birthday party. It never arrived. Gift completely blown. Customer service couldn’t say when it would arrive as they hadn’t even printed it by the deadline. So very very disappointed. Poor product and poor customer service.
    Will never use them again.

  • Unreliable!!

    I placed an order for a Father’s Day book on June 4th solely because your app stated that it would arrive on Thursday June 13th. Now I’m seeing that it’s not due to arrive until June 17th. This is a huge disappointment and unacceptable-I would not have placed an order with your company had I known my item would not arrive on time for the holiday! I paid close attention to the delivery date specifically because it was very important to receive this as a gift. Now it’s ruined. Tried using the “chat” feature built into the app and nobody is even running it-no answer! Do not place an order with this company! No honesty, reliability or customer service. Waste of my money and I’m so upset that I now have to figure out another gift idea.

  • Deceptively easy

    The app is stellar, far superior to Shutterfly. Designing a metal print was a snap. So, I was really surprised when it arrived and the print quality made it look like the photos were shot on a digital camera in 2003, rather than my iPhone. I complain, and lo and behold, I’m told that images need to be 300 dpi and to convert them with a third party site. That’s fine, support was good and they sent me a new print for free.

    But it’s horrible app design! You are actively encouraging me to upload directly from my phone, and giving me no indication that the DPI is too low — in fact, the virtual preview looked great — and then delivering me subpar products. You should be automatically upscaling the image, or at least telling me I should. The current design led me straight into a bad outcome. And I’m sure many more people got similar results but just assumed it was a bad quality product.

  • sent me someone else's book

    I received someone else's book / photos in the mail with their full name and address attached; obviously a massive mistake that compromised important personal information that breaks their privacy policy and a customer's trust, especially when sent to a stranger attached to private photos. Rayjayne, the customer support agent, first failed to know their refund policy and when I quoted it to her directly offered a 50% discount. I broke it down for her again and she finally offered some of my money back. Genuinely so embarrassing and very telling of how unorganized Mixbook is. I can see why they have to have massive sales/discounts for people to give them business.

  • Not as easy as they say

    Not as user friendly as is led to believe. I wasn’t really happy with my first project. Auto process repeated some photos and had a wrong date in there. It’s so blasted tiny and can only do on phone so I didn’t catch the wrong date before I paid a ridiculous amount of money to have it done. They SAY happiness is guaranteed but that’s not really true. Sigh.

    That said, the quality of the book is really really nice and it’s a beautiful way to create a remembrance of an event. I just wish it was a little easier/user friendly for those of us with less than stellar eyesight. It’s really hard to create and edit when everything is so so small.

  • Incredibly easy and fun.

    I got the app while on our Hawaii vacation. I wanted a way to create a daily picture diary of the trip but didn’t want to wait to get back home as I would probably forget many of the smaller moments. I spent 5 minutes each evening adding my favorite pics and by the end of the trip I had my book. It was so easy and fun to make and it looks great! I’ll probably turn it into a ritual on all vacations going forward.

  • WOW, just WOW!

    Mixbook is out of this world. I have created several photo books and calendar and I am just amazed! Not only was it easy for me to upload my photos, it was even easier to create. There were so many outstanding features that I haven’t seen anywhere.

    The SMART tools to assist with my captions was so helpful. I couldn’t believe that Mixbook gathered all my photos and knew which captions would assist! I loved them and then regenerated even more when I wasn’t feeling creative!

    When it came to themes it was so organized and many to choose from. Oftentimes, I would pray that my creation was as gorgeous as it looked on the screen…that was the best part! When they arrived the books and calendars were even more phenomenal than I had imagined! The quality was the best I’d ever seen and I’ve used a lot of different companies!

    If your looking for a company that really cares and supports their customers Mixbook is the way to go! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to create even more!

  • Disappointing

    I was so pleased with this app when I first started creating my photo album. I’m working on a huge project and wanted a cohesive look throughout. I loved how you could basically edit everything on Mixbook including the background color of the text boxes. That feature has now disappeared and I’m unable to complete the album with the same look which is very frustrating to me. There’s also many other little glitches that keep happening. For example when I’m working on say page 30 and then save that page every time I go back to look at all the pages it automatically sends me to page 10. I’m still slowly trying to work on this album because I’m over 300 pages deep at this point but it has become grueling. Please app developers fix these problems! I really need the text box color fill option back! Thank you

  • Please make an iPad friendly version 🙏

    I love this app and website, its very easy to use. My only wish is that it was more iPad friendly instead of just having a good fit for a phone. If the app expanded to fill the whole screen and just integrated more with the iPad I would love it even more. That is my only grievance, bc I don’t have a macbook and my photos only sync to my iPad, and having a bigger workspace would be much nicer.

  • AMAZING Customer Service

    I ordered a book that I wanted to use as a guest book for my daughter’s first birthday. When I placed the order, I saw that even with paying for the fastest shipping, it was going to be a day late. I chatted customer service just to see if there was any way it could be delivered on time. I ended up having something come up and didn’t chat them back. They followed up with an email and said that they would do what they could to get the book delivered in time. The book came in two days before her party which is three days before it was expected to be delivered. I’m so relieved and so happy with my experience! This is the seventh book I’ve ordered through Mixbook and seventh that I have been more than satisfied with! Shoutout to Cassandra for being an awesome customer service rep!
