Horrid

Horrible app. Keeps logging me out. Tried to make a transfer over 12 times and keeps logging me out.

Terrible

Santander are not a clearing bank so transactions and transfers aren’t live so there are delays especially over the weekend but overall this app is poor. Transaction history is limited, DD don’t show next payment date and search functionality doesn’t work.

They really need to see what their competitors are doing and quickly.

Useless app and web page

I’ve never seen such a limited functionality of a bank account in an app and web page like this. You rather not have an app or mobile banking at all! Just use brick and mortar banking model then! Not able to generate a current account bank statement (only list of transactions in an unfriendly format, not like others that show the headlines, account details at the top). Not able to connect to mortgage account. Just useless.

Terrible App

Can’t login sometimes. Transfers are clunky. Standard Santander app is far better. For private customers you’d think it’d be better.

I am trying to load/open the app and it goes to a ‘scan’ mode but I have no idea what it wants me to scan and gives zero information on what is required. Either the app is stupid or more probably I am!!!

Hi, please log on to Online Banking on your PC and follow the instructions. The Mobile Banking app is looking for a QR code which is part of the registration process which you initiate when you log on to Online Banking. There are also Mobile Banking guides on our website which give you detailed instructions. If you have any issues please call our customer service team and they will be able to help you.

No notifications

I opened the app recently and found two recent notifications it said I had been sent, one read, the other unread.
I don't remember seeing any notifications and what's more, the Apple settings doesn't even have an entry for Santander International app.

Direct Debit / Standing Orders

I find the app is missing features. I hold 2 Santander accounts. I would like to transfer money each month from one to the other. For example £130 for oil, £160 for electric and £150 for rates (few on many I want to do)
Some months the amount changes - oil may need reduced to £80 for example.
The app doesn’t allow you to adjust the amount.
Also the app doesn’t allow references / search references.
If my elec bill came I would like to do a quick transaction search to see how much I’ve saved to pay the bill.

Worse bank

Very bad customer care, to login on phone is a nightmare. Mobile banking very bad, nothing to report scam soon as possible. Spent over one hour on phone to report scam.
Worse bank had in my life…

App stopped working after update

App stopped working after latest update. Saying incorrect pass code which I am sure is correct. Generating a security code does not work either and not really sure of how that would be a very secure option to have on an app. The security code should perhaps be emailed, rather than showing up within the app? This is the second time this app is telling me that I am entering incorrect pass code. First time over, I had to call the bank, delete the app and re-register again. I guess I’ll have to do the same again - if I even bother doing it. Dissatisfied

Hi, sorry to hear that you're not happy with the app. For security reasons we can't send anything via email as we need to protect your personal data. If you have forgotten your 6-digit PIN then you will need to call us so that we can set you up on the app again. Apologies for the inconvenience this will cause but this is for the security of your personal and financial information.

Nice easy to use banking app

I like the look and feel of this app. Biometrics work well, provides all the functionality I need without any issues
