This is not the App that you were expecting and it doesn’t even work!
The app doesn’t work and uses an ambiguous instruction in the IKEA Symfonisk speaker booklet to make it look like you are downloading the app that will control the speaker at a cost. The real app is free but does not refer to S2 which is where this app takes advantage!!Kalaratri2

You updated the app. It doesn’t work well. Volume is lagged. Trying to select rooms and music is difficult. FIX IT. I paid a lot for the equipment.merc not me

First my old system is deemed obsolete - had to ditch a perfectly good speaker. Now new system- sonos app disappears overnight? Looking for a new system .Ronocnayr

Total Piss off
I can’t believe that Sonos is once again making it difficult for S1 purchasers to enjoy in peace what they have bought and paid for long since. I thought the company got our message a few years ago when they tried to coerce us into obsolescence by withdrawing oxygen from S1. Today after a very hectic series of adventures I just want to relax with some music and instead I got my clicked by a pop up force new sol I don’t even want which then Froze. Couldn’t get through to a human and just packed it in. I’m furious with Sonos and am seriously thinking about walking the plank once and for and encouraging everyone who has had it to put out heads over her to find a new brand that we can actually trust to honour our investment in them.Show lessGenghiscohen
