When Bad is just Bad

I hoped to see a positive review hoping to find a good thing I missed. Your App is so bad I’m broken inside. I cannot reconcile the life time warranty and how impossible it is to get it to work well. It is over heating rooms at 18 degrees meaning it does not have a reliable thermostat.

I cannot set anything logical with the app. The schedule does not work. I cannot easily set time limit and it only switches off to 7degrees. It’s hard to compared it to my Dyson heater and purifier- I now understand why. Was this developed by high school kids?

The bad:
I cannot schedule anything event though the option is there
I cannot set a time to turn it off
It does not seem to have a thermostat so the rooms overheat
Not child friendly - the top part of the heater gets soo hot
I cannot access the frequently asked (FAQs) in the app. The page does not load.

The less Bad:
I managed to connect three heaters to the app reasonably well , but it’s not as easy or intuitive.
I can reduce heat and chose modes.

Hi GwasyMan - thanks for your feedback. The app allows you to set up to 8 schedule periods per day. These can be set based on the modes "Comfort", "Eco", "Away" and "Off". Just select the start time you want the period to start at. You can then apply your schedule to the zones you want to run using that schedule. Don't bother!

Don't bother with this app. Useless app that doesn't work. Thanks me later and save your time. No wonder it has 1 stars from 16users!

Frustratingly difficult

I don’t often leave reviews, so this should tell the developers how frustrated I am with this app. When we finally (finally!!) got it paired, there seems to be no way to set a normal “timer”. You need to select a Zone Schedule, which you can’t change, and then can really only have one option - to either have it come on at a certain time, or off. Not both. My old faithful oil coil had better functionality for switching on and then off at regular times. Two relatively smart people have tried to figure it out to no avail - I’d suggest your QA needs an “intuitive heater user” for your next update as it’s easier to do manually vs via the app right now. Very disappointing.

Doesn’t work

Pretty simple, it doesn’t work. Can’t even find the heater that I’m right next to. For a $700 product that then advertises this app, pretty poor

Most useless app

Good heater. But can’t pair to my iPhone or ipad .

Worst smart device app

Worst smart devices app that I have come across so far. Too complex and yet not functional. It overheated my son’s room tonight. The schedule was saying the heater must be off and I could clearly feel that the unit generating heat. Later on while the unit was showing 22 degree, the room temperature raised to 30 degree. I had to turn the unit off from the power to stop the app intervening with the unit setting. All we needed was to be able adjust the room temperature without entering the room, and now we are stuck with this useless app.

Awful App

There is nowhere that explains how to use the app, or how to use the schedules, I love the heater but having it turn itself off because of settings that don’t make sense in the app is a pain in the you-know-what. Even the website has no information, nor any way to contact someone to get help.

Very poor…..barely useable

Really poorly designed app that rarely works despite excellent wifi connectivity throughout the house, heater and phone. I don’t think anyone bothered testing this app.

There is a bug

Not the most intuitive app I have used but there are a couple of flaws/bugs in the system. When I set up the heater, after connecting to my wifi, I didn’t understand why it was coming on and off on its own schedule. I noticed that the app thought it was 6 am instead of 2pm. I had assumed that it would take the time from my wifi - it doesn’t. During the setup of the Site you have to manually select the time zone that you are in. On my Iphone it prompts you for the “locate now” during this process and I missed the Timezone set up. I finally found it and set it correctly and it works, more or less. The trouble is it does not account for daylight saving!! So the two faults are 1. The app should default to the local server time zone. 2. There could be an option in the settings to select / correct the time zones. 3. We have had daylight saving for a while now, several decades in fact - this should be accounted for. Cheers.

Terrible

Terrible! Does not connect from wifi to app like stated therefor useless for what I brought it for
