A delightful piece of software
O.I. Share is a core Olympus feature for me. I use it constantly and it works beautifully. It never crashes or slows down. I can’t imagine using my camera without it. Olympus has spoiled me. I’ll now never own a camera that can’t directly transfer pictures to my phone.

Notification spam
This app generates notification spam (ads) that can’t be turned off. The workaround is to disable notifications for the app, which breaks the ability to receive notifications when geotagging.

Otherwise, the features that the app provides work.

The worst app on my phone
Extremely fickle in connecting to my Olympus camera even though I’m following the steps to connect and download carefully. A big waste of time!

Low resolution photo exported to the photo gallery.

I need high resolution photo exported to the photo gallery. Fix it!!

Can’t hold the connection between camera and iPhone
The prior app easily imported photos from the camera. The new app continually drops the connection and gives the message that it can’t find the camera. Then the app has to be restarted. Painful process

Only one camera
Unfortunately you can only link one camera app at a time. I have been using this app for quite some time regularly on my phone. I am really disappointed that it is not compatible with iMac.

Fantastic companion app for camera
A very handy app that saves me the trouble of removing the SD card to upload photographs. Works well and hasn’t crashed!

Terrible interface
I’ve been using this app for a long time and it should be simple to connect a new device. It’s not. This is the most basic step and it’s not intuitive nor is it easy when you finally find the directions on how to connect. Ridiculous. Who needs all the advanced capabilities when you can’t make the initial connection? Thumbs down.

Keeps dropping connection
The old OI Share app worked much better between my phone and my camera. This version keeps dropping the connection despite troubleshooting. (The website doesn’t offer troubleshooting so I am on my own as to next steps).
