  • Needs update

When Olympus first released the app it was pretty groundbreaking. Today it’s way behind the capabilities of the camera. It really needs a major update

One major design flaw, why can’t it connect and store settings for multiple cameras. I have two OM-1 cameras and have to reregister the camera to do firmware updates. It would be very useful to use the app to upload settings and the load those settings to the second camera. It would be useful to have multiple configurations such as studio and landscape, particularly since we only have four custom settings.

  • Connection issue

My iPad unable to connect to camera
  • Garbage

We’ll this app is completely unusable garbage. It was totally downhill after the initial connection to my E-M1 mII. The connection is totally unstable (my phone was 3ft from the camera), dropping every minute or so, the app freezes up, and you can time the lag in Live View with an hourglass ⏳Don’t bother wasting your time or the space on your phone

  • Doesn’t connect to EM5 Mark III

It connects maybe 1 out of 10 tries, what’s the point of that?
  • Won’t connect

The camera will no longer connect to my phone despite trying many different ways of working around problems. Worthless.
  • Unable to connect to my Olympus TG-6

Just bought an Olympus TG-6 and one of the selling points was WiFi transfer. Tried setting up today with no luck. Tried on both iPad and iPhone. Camera will connect to my devices. Unfortunately the app will not connect. Very disappointing.
  • Unusable

Forced to update and I find that I can only use this new version of the app with ONE of my Oly cameras. I routinely use TWO Olympic cameras which means (apparently) that I would have to constantly deregister and Re register each camera. I should probably add that the “add a camera” feature is not at all seamless. Without an obvious workaround, I suspect I’ll be using my Fuji camera more and more…..Ugh….

  • wifi takes so long

and it doesn’t work in background, it ties up the phone :(
  • Poor Quality

Will not connect to the camera to import pictures. Use to work a lot better. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled several times but it’s still not working properly. If I go to my phone setting it shows it’s connected to the cameras wi-fi but the app shows it’s not.
  • “Easy Set Up” is finicky but worth the effort

I had this working perfectly with my EM5iii on my old iPad (generation 3), but when I got a new one, the set up repeatedly failed to find the camera. I got so frustrated I deleted the app, and lo and behold, reinstalling it solved the problem. So try that if you have problems. This app, once it’s running, has better functionality than Sony’s or Panasonic’s. It still won’t work on my iPhone, though.
