Please Read Full Installation Tips
So I had troubles connecting my wireless go ii to my iphone but here is the full walkthrough.
1. You will need either the SC15 or SC21 cable, Apples cable does not work.
2. Make sure you download the Updated Rode Central PC App 2.0 (Mac & Windows)
3. Update all transmitters and receivers with NEW Rode Central 2.0
4. Download iOs app
5. VERY IMPORTANT! The SC cables require alot of force to get into the transmitter so make sure you hear a solid click and there is none of the actual usb c cable showing
and You’re done! Your all connected and ready for field use!

Wireless Go2 is useless without app
I just bought the wireless Go2 system and have no way of getting the audio files off the device without the app, which by the way does not work on my iphone, ipad, laptop or desktop, even with the correct Rode connection cable. Guess I’ll be returning the unit and waiting for DJI. Very disappointing.

Underrated!?
Yes, functionality poorly documented, and have to use special cable, but app does work (for me) - and the wireless go II itself is brilliant!
Seriously, what’s the point of this app?
I emailed support asking what cord I need for my iPhone to rode wireless go II connection. Haven’t heard back but your standard usb-c to lightning cable doesn’t work, nor using a lightning:3.5mm adapter with the 3.5mm cord it comes with. I want to use the app. Support, can you help me? Thank you.
Dosnt Connect
Will not connect to iPhone regardless of full updates, cable,bluetooth 🤷🏻♂️

Everything updated but the app doesn’t work. Not much good when you’re in the field!! Maybe respond to these issues??
Does not connect with latest firmware
I have double checked and all my rode devices have the latest firmware. Yet the mobile app says to update to latest firmware. I use a PC laptop and have an iPhone. I’ve tried deleting the app and downloading again with the same outcome. Way too much of a headache. Big waste of time.
I Should’ve Trusted the Reviews
There isn’t much instruction on this app. I’ve YouTube’d solutions.
1. Apparently you need a USB-C to lightning cable that isn’t from Apple. (This is a design flaw to design an app for an iPhone that isn’t compatible with Apple products.
2. I bought a non-Apple cable. Still doesn’t recognize the Wireless Go II devices.
3. All the firmware is updated and there’s no instruction on where to go from there.
At the end of the day I’ll get a refund on my cable. But this is foolish to design an Apple app that doesn’t work with Apple cables, where cables are needed to connect to the devices.
