Doesn’t work with IOS 11 or iPad 7, does work with my intel laptop, just barely, get your act together Rode, this App is ridiculously useless.

Doesn’t work at all
The Mac app works fine. However, the iOS app doesn’t work with any cable. The app doesn’t even show up in my system settings to check if there might be a privacy setting that could be changed. - I would love to use this with my phone. Kind of the whole reason I purchased the Rode mics. - I’ll wait for the fix.

No matter what cable I use the transmitter can’t be connected
Absolutely makes no sense
I have no idea WHY one needs a desktop to access the audio? Not even with an iPad Pro, you cannot access the recordings on this app, and it makes it totally stupid. Why restrict access to it to the desktop? They’ve rendered this redundant now for those who work on the go with their iPad or iphone. Its just LAZY coding.

Cant connect to transmitter
No matter which cable I purchase the transmitter is not detected by the app. This is a pain in the proverbial!
Ideal
Exactly how this kind of app should be. No account needed, no setup, just plug in a device and edit settings. Took 30 seconds to get my WirelessME configured.
Tragically Sad.
My iPhone 14 can see the Rode VideoMic Me-L. In fact Apple Music can select the Me-l as an output destination but yet Rode Central Mobile asks me to connect a Rode microphone. What a shambles of an app.

This is not is Rode
This app does not connect to my Rode wireless go go out of the box. Needed to buy Rode SC15 Cable to connect to the unit to my phone but now it says I need to connect to my computer to update the receiver. Connected the receiver to my computer and it is updated… not sure why it won’t connect to a brand new iPhone 14 Pro and the Rode Central App. Please fix.
I expect better from rode. I will not be purchasing the Rode Wireless Pro because of this property nonsense. Not to mention the property stuff doesn’t even function as expected.
Side note: You also have to use rode connect on PC / Mac to download your remote recordings but can’t do it on the Phone app… come on Rode. This is straight up false advertising.
