Too many outages

We keep loosing control of our smart floodlights as app stops working for a day or two!! Then it comes back on its own..

Amazing technology!

Over the course of the last 16 months, I have purchased smart light bulbs and an air purifier from this company. Not only are their products extraordinary, the app makes using them effortless. I am easily able to open the app, from anywhere, and turn on the lights in my entrance foyer as I pull upon nights I have to work late. And just as easily as I turned on my lights, I can do the same with the air purifier all from the same app!
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the products I’ve purchased from AiDot and how easy the app is to use and navigate . 10/10!!

Update after months of issues

Update 6.11.24: another month has gone by and the app suddenly started working. I am extremely reluctant to update it again and it has only worked for a day so far. For the time being I will keep the previous review updates but am changing my star rating to 3. I am not confident this is a full fix, but initially the signs are good. The app certainly needs to have a better help section, at least for the lights I have. Fingers crossed.

After the latest update at least the lights work intermittently through the app. It’s not ideal, I won’t trust the company or app and would suggest others don’t either. It’s a terrible service that no one has been able or willing to actually help resolve the issue we have had. It’s been months now since the app has not worked properly. It’s simply not good enough!

No 5G support S1 Plus Water Detector Wi-Fi Hub

Does not support 5G networks. Wish they’d made this known before I spent time researching and wasting my time buying, unboxing and trying to set it up. Update: So I managed to change to 2.4GHz (reluctantly) and connected the hub and sensors with relatively no problem. The problem now is that when the network goes down, it erases the names of the sensors that I had named them. It also erases my phone number and email address that I entered for notifications. I had to rejoin the hub to the network, rename all the sensors all over again and re-entered my phone number and email. If the network goes down, it should retain all the settings. Hopefully with a firmware update. Please fix!

Great Integration

Couldn’t be happier - I recently purchased these smart bulbs, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! For such a great price, you get two bulbs that seamlessly integrate with all my devices—whether it's Matter, Alexa, or HomeKit. The app that comes with these bulbs is outstanding; it not only allows for vibrant color settings to create a lively atmosphere, but it also integrates beautifully with the bulbs for effortless control.

One feature I absolutely love is the ability to set alerts for external events, such as notifications for weather changes. It’s amazing how you can customize each bulb to work on its own or coordinate them together for a synchronized experience. Overall, it’s a solid investment that adds both functionality and fun to my home. Highly recommend! Two thumbs up!

Leak Detectors

I purchased Winees leak detectors this summer for my home to have peace of mind. I am easily able to monitor the status of each alarm sensor by using the AiDot APP. The APP works great, and gives me all of the informs to. I really like how the AiDot APP gives me all of the info about each sensor in real time. If you are looking at purchasing a leak detector, I would highly recommend purchasing these leak detectors for the ease of use, quality and the convenience of having the AiDot APP to monitor them.

Easy and convenient!

I use this app with Link Matter Smart Bulbs.

The app does suggest several presets including nightlight, movie, and calm settings, but also basically allows you free range to change the color, brightness, and schedule for each light bulb. There are options to make the lights shift and change to music, but FYI this bulb does NOT change colors to the rhythms/vibrations of the music itself like a traditional LED bulb. But you can create custom music settings with the colors, timing, and brightness of your choice. I love that the app allows me to set timers for the lights to come on and off— great for signaling the ADHD brain to “wake up” or “get ready for bed”

Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would buy more of their products

AiDot is the leader of the pack!

A couple of things about this app that make it, in my opinion, superior to other apps controlling my other smart home products:

1. They are graciously low key about promotions and advertising. That alone gets them my business.

2. Updating to a new WiFi setup was a breeze. Other manufacturers required I remove their product from the home app and reset their device before going through the set up and automations programming process all over again. AiDot just pings the device, identified a WiFi issue, and takes you through the steps to update it. Why aren’t all apps this easy?

Coincidence

As a disabled individual I rely on these lights several times a day. I am grateful for the intuitive app and its ease of use across all the devices my family uses. From myself in a wheelchair to my 9 year old, we all enjoy the ease of use of the lights, even across 3rd party devices.
I even suggested an improvement to the app to integrate a dark mode, so it is more comfortable to use at night and lo and behold a month or two later the app is near perfect.
The dimmable range of the lights could be better but that’s being pretty picky, and it may just be a hardware issue which is understandable for how cost effective these bulbs are. I am very pleased with this product!
