  • Update after months of issues

    After the latest update at least the lights work intermittently through the app. It’s not ideal, I won’t trust the company or app and would suggest others don’t either. It’s a terrible service that no one has been able or willing to actually help resolve the issue we have had. It’s been months now since the app has not worked properly. It’s simply not good enough!

  • Coincidence

    As a disabled individual I rely on these lights several times a day. I am grateful for the intuitive app and its ease of use across all the devices my family uses. From myself in a wheelchair to my 9 year old, we all enjoy the ease of use of the lights, even across 3rd party devices.
    I even suggested an improvement to the app to integrate a dark mode, so it is more comfortable to use at night and lo and behold a month or two later the app is near perfect.
    The dimmable range of the lights could be better but that’s being pretty picky, and it may just be a hardware issue which is understandable for how cost effective these bulbs are. I am very pleased with this product!

  • can no longer control all lights at once

    new update made UI improvements, but removed functionality. specifically the ability to control a group of lights. now all lights must be individually controlled. this was a fundamental feature and now it’s gone. makes no sense. please fix.

    UPDATE: this functionality is indeed still there, but it’s been tucked away in a screen that is not intuitive to locate. this is a very basic thing that should be brought back to the individual room screen light control. hiding it was a mistake!

    Hi, dear Aidot user, sorry for the trouble you. The new version of APP(V2.0.1) has released this function. After upgrading to this version then you can find the "All Light" function on the Home Page and don't need any operation.
  • App is bloated, over complicated and often buggy

    I like the bulbs but this app makes me think about changing to another app and other manufacturers bulbs in the future. Like right now, they updated the app and now I lost all control over the bulbs - can’t change, can’t turn off (they were on before the the phone downloaded the latest app), can’t do nothin’. And this is NOT the first time. I’m definitely going to look for an app that’s not from this manufacturer to have control over these bulbs. Because this app, with a bunch of near-identical settings, disorganization, and product placement bloatware, is amateur hour.

  • Great iPhone and iPad app, not so much on Watch

    I really enjoy the iPhone and iPad apps, they’re really interactive and I love how easily I can schedule and control my air purifiers.

    That said the Apple Watch app is pretty disappointing. I’m not sure what it really even does but it lacks support for my air purifiers unfortunately. It would be super nice to be able to quickly adjust the settings or airflow on my air purifiers without picking up my iPhone. Looking forward to better Apple Watch support in the future!

  • Maybe they are attempting to fix these janky lights

    I’ve had these for months and consistently 1 out of the four bulbs will not connect. I have messaged the company multiple times and they have barely acknowledged the problem. It’s infuriating because the app is basically useless when a bulb doesn’t connect, there is no troubleshooting option, just a message insisting that your WiFi must not be on(even though the app is connected to wifi talking to other lights)
    Finally, like two weeks ago the app started working which was great, all four bulbs were connecting every time. Today, not only is it not working again, but now there seems to be an update where it shows there is no connection on one bulb. Then I can get to a ‘troubleshooting screen’ which either crashes on a screen telling me to not to back out of it or it won’t connect(there is no option to back out anyway) OR has me re-log onto the WiFi again, even though it’s already connected to 3 other bulbs THEN while still connected to 3 bulbs tells me the password is wrong. F’ing Brilliant upgrade, can I please go back to whatever the last upgrade was, because that one worked.
    And again, why is there a social media app on an app to control lightbulbs? Instead of a social media app, can we have something useful, like RGB sliders to control the colors?

As for the issue of the "social media app“, do you mean the "Integration" function of the Aidot APP? As for the issue of the RGB sliders, we will report it to the product team to evaluate it, andy new update, we will inform you.
  • Perfect for my use!

    I mainly use this app paired with my matter enabled lightbulbs which were a decent price. I normally use Siri to turn my lights on and off, but when I need a different mood set, I’ll use the app to change the colors and have it sync with music which works pretty great. For the price of the light and the quality of this app, I think this is a pretty great product. Having the store in the app makes it very tempting to buy more products. Whoever had that idea… pure genius!

  • Awesome buy

    I got the 4-pack of lightbulbs and I only wish I’d gotten them sooner. It feels safer to come home to a house with lights on already and I like knowing my pets have light when they need it. Being able to schedule them is also nice for winding down and waking up. It helps with setting a tone for your day. I don’t recommend using them in lamps that have a dimmer function.

  • Best of the best!

    AiDot has been the best App and some of the best products I’ve ever used. I had some issues starting out getting my Apple TV hub paired up with home kit, but I believe that to be some communication issue between the two interfaces, but after another attempt everything connected perfectly. The app is super simple and user friendly. I love all the different colors and look forward to future products and future updates. Top notch products that won’t disappoint.

  • Perfect for lighting

    I love using this app on my iPad to automate my home lighting (orein bulbs), it helps me with focus, relaxation, bedtime, and wake up settings. My sleep cycle has improved significantly since setting up the app. Each room and/or bulb can be separately controlled. The best part is that no smart hub is necessary for using these products together. I have not tried to use other features of the app but my understanding is that it can be used to control additional smart products over a wireless network. My only issue is that I sometimes get logged out and there is no option for storing the username/password.
