  • Hopeless for Linkind users

    Linkind migrated all users accounts to this without a password reset or forgotten option. Well done, now I can’t use my Linkind smart bulbs.

    Hi, dear user, sorry for the trouble for you. Do you mean cannot log into the Aidot APP now? If so, please check whether you remember the account that you used in the Linkind APP before. If you remember, please help log this account to the Aidot APP, click the " Forget Password", then set a new password to your account, and then you can use it.
  • Very robust app for smart devices

    This app is really robust for smart home devices. I only use it for the lighting, but I love the preset light settings! I think my favorite is the bonfire, it makes your lights flicker a little like their little miniature fires! I like the fact that you can make automations to make your life a little easier too! Something else that’s kind of cool is you can sync your lights to music! Pretty cool if you are having a party and want to keep it lively! The app will listen to the music through the phone and make the lights dance!
    The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t select all lights at once. You can select all lights in a specific room, but once you break down into different rooms you can’t select both sets from the main page.

  • Simple and fun!

    I love the app and products, the app is simple to use, I never had to pause and search for what I needed, everything was continently located on the app to operate whatever product you need. One worry o had when using these products was reliability, the app and products always connect right away, there’s no worry that I’m going to be left stranded with products not working.

  • A standout smart home app

    Just started using the AIDot app and I'm already impressed. It's quickly become one of my top smart home apps, thanks to its innovative features like product testing, rewards points, and a vibrant community.   • App and products work well

    I have several scenes setup along with Siri Shortcuts, so I can control lights and different ambiances with Siri. It was a bit of a hassle at first, because these do not integrate with HomeKit, so I could not use standard language like “turn off bedroom light”, but I made it work with commands like “Bedroom Bedtime”. Overall, works well. There was one day where the app went down entirely, there was no in-app messaging about the outage, so it appeared the app stopped working due to a recent update. It was a bit frustrating because we had no way turn our lights on or off without unplugging and plugging the lamps back in. However, the app started working again the next day. The developer was very responsive, apologized and shows a strong interest to continue improving. Overall, I would recommend this app and their smart light bulbs.

  • Constant network issues

    Pretty hard to like an app, where the session expires constantly, can’t log back in because of network issues and are not able to control the devices with any sort of ease. It’s been non stop issues since I installed this.

    Edit: The issues that I wrote about, did get resolved after the first 48 hours. The app seems to be working as it should. The developers did reach out to explain they did experience some technical issues and had hoped they had gotten those resolved. Will bump to 3 stars for now, as initial experience was still dreadful.

  • Quick resolution on challenge with linking Alexa and Aidot

    After using the bulbs and Aidot for about a week I lost the skill link between Aidot and Alexa and could not reconnect. Reached out to the help email and I got a prompt response and they got the issue resolved within a very timely manner. There is also a what’s app support number which is awesome!

  • App is crashing

    All was great until today. I got home and every single AiDot product I have is offline. The app won’t let me login and says I have no network connection. I logged in online and sent a password reset thinking maybe that was the issue. But when I clicked the link in the email to reset my password it only told me password requirements and gave no option to enter information or go to the next screen. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone and nothing works. All of my other lights and plugs work fine, just nothing that connects using AiDot. I haven’t gotten any feedback from AiDot to inform me of any issues that they are working through.

  • Fix the app

    So I’ve been using the app for a year and haven’t had issues until recently. Lately the app has been really slow connecting to our device we’ve purchased, the app frequently logs me out, it takes forever to load the device in my phone. The app has bugs and will shut off completely, it freezes the whole app completely,. The severe go down and won’t let me log in and I tired almost over 10 times. FIX THE APP.

  • Awful

    I’ve had these bulbs and app for almost 6 months and the app has always given me issues. It will randomly stop working, the presets don’t work, and sometimes the app just freezes and I have to manually turn my lights on and off. Resetting your password also isn’t easy since their site seems to be incredibly slow or it simply doesn’t work at all. I cannot count the number of times that I’ve had to restart this process only to get nowhere.
    I have turned my phone on and off, offloaded the app, deleted it, download it again…it’s frustrating that I’m spending so much time trying to get it to work when the reason why I got it in the first place was to make things easier for myself.
    Not sure yet if contacting support is helpful at all, but I hope to get a response from them soon.
