Best App For My Lights
This is a great app for when I started using Wi-Fi smart LEDs for the first time! I already love it and once the new LEDs arrived, I scheduled when the lights would turn on and the app is so easy to navigate and make presets and all sorts! I highly recommend this for your home. I am now going to convince my friends and family to use the Wi-Fi Smart LEDs with the AiDot app and tell them how it saves both time and energy.Show lessDJTrishna : )

The AIDot app is an AMAZING smart home app in my opinion. Definitely in my top 3 list!! ESPECIALLY because of all of the new and amazing new features and additives they have been adding to the app such as: Product testing, rewards points, the AIDot community and various different groups. I truly cannot wait to see what other new features they decide to add to their app to make it even better than it already is now. I would recommend this app to ANY of my friends/family or just ANYONE in general who is searching for a great new smart home app to use regularly. I love that I can turn on my outside lights as well as my side lights when I’m not home. Plus I can program them to come on at certain or go off at certain time.Rattmama420
Cheap Chinese junk if using with Edison smart bulbs
Purchased smart light bulbs and this is the app that came with it. I’ve had a lot of experience with smart bulbs and apps so I am not new to the game. However this app will not load no matter what I do. I called their supposed 24/7 HOTLINE and got a nastyMessage reprimanding me to call them during business hours. I have no clue what their business hours are but I was calling during regular business hours Eastern standard time. My electrician will be here to install the porch light any minute and I can’t use these Edison smart bulbs that I purchased because their app is a piece of junk. And I physically can’t get up there after he installs the light to replace bulbs, so I’m stuck having to use different bulbs than the ones I purchased for this purpose. Definitely not happy. I will have to pay to have somebody come back and take the canopy down and install a different new smart bulb that I will be purchasing. Returning these. BUY AMERICAN!!!Show lessMikkithatsme

The app and associated automations are very poor, nothing works the way it should, each time i need to contact customer support, they flick something on their end and it solves the problem.
To start with, i was receiving notifications for everything 24/7. Settings schedules or routines did nothing; setting notification settings within a certain time frame did nothing. I had to disable notifications on the system level of my device to stop constant push notifications, until AIdot support confirmed they’ve changed something on their end so notifications started to behave. A bit pointless to have these settings on my app if they do nothing?
Then everything was fine for 3 months until my free trial ended. Upon renewing subscription, any automations, routines or schedules do nothing. Whatever you set there, it just does nothing. The only setting that’s now working is Notification schedule. It’s a bit pointless though: i want the events recorded, but be notified at certain times, is that not how it’s meant to work?
Also, since renewing subscription, it stopped detecting pets unconditionally. I have 2 big dogs, and they’d not been detected once for a month now.
Aside, when it did detect pets, it often detected them as a person. Also, often, there would be no movement in the room (and there can’t be, everyone would be sleeping), but i got an alert it detected a person. There should be a feedback option so i can report this alert was wrong so the AI can learn.
And finally, often event recordings are late. The video snapshot shows the recording after the person is gone from the camera already: for example when you walk through the room, the alert comes and shows you the video of your ankle just disappearing through the doorway.
Would not buy anymore products of this brand again.Show lessEvellica
