My adhd needed this

I needed someone to tell me how to run and when. I always do too much, too fast, didn’t know how to structure the different types of runs, and wasn’t sure exactly what type of strength training to do. I love that this app does it all for me and now I can adjust the date after I had to pause for a week due to illness. I’m glad I went for an annual plan.

First Marathon Complete!

I have just finished the Yorkshire marathon with the help of Coopah and I’m super pleased with how the app and the backup coaching support helped me go from a semi-regular park runner to a marathon. The app itself is well designed and you put in your event goal, date and time. You can put in which days of the week you will have more or less time to train, and how many runs per week you want to do. It then builds a training plan tailored to you. No more guessing with pdf training plans downloaded from the internet! You can move workouts around and they are a mix of runs, strength and yoga, all of which can be done with no additional equipment and are well demonstrated with videos in the app. The best bit though is the ask a coach support, which is fantastic! I used this lots with my training, as I moved house and also picked up an injury whilst training, so it was great to have someone to talk with about updating my training plan to fit around life! Considering the digital plan, training videos, and coaching support, I think the cost of the subscription is well worth it, if you think how much it would cost to get that from a personal trainer, or the cost of other general fitness apps. I’m now looking towards my next event and I wouldn’t think of running event training without it!

Take your runs to the next level!

I have been running for a few years now and used training plans from other platforms previously. Coopah has been great so far! It’s given me a new found love for running. The plans are easy to follow and so far have given great results. With the added bonus of being able to contact a coach if you need help or advise. I use a Garmin and all workouts sync easily over to the watch, making the workouts even easier and stress free to follow. I also work rotating shift patterns, so the ability to move around the runs to suit my current schedule is a blessing!

My First Running App

I started using Coopah because a friend recommended it. Been training for my first 5K with it and have found it very helpful. It is so much better to have a training plan laid out for you than trying to create one on your own. I just set my goals and Coopah takes care of the rest. I totally recommend this to anyone.

Good

I do really like it but a bit more flexibillity in terms of difficulty levels would be even better. I would also like more control over what run when in the week. I know you can shuffle them around once the schedule has been built but you can’t always select how you want them arranged at the start very easily. Once a schedule is established you can’t go back and edit how many runs per week, or when in the week you do a long run, say. I really like the strength training incorporation but again more flexibility in how many sessions a week. The video clips are difficult to rewind and fast forward on a phone so perhaps a better platform and splitting the exercises separately instead of one long video, perhaps written descriptions accompanying them too. Apart from those things it’s ace though and I’ll probably stick with it!

Loving it

I heard someone say they like Coopah because the training plans use timed runs instead of distance. It feels more manageable for some reason and I’m loving it. I also love that I can move my workouts to any day of the week and that the app gives me strength workouts each week. I’ve used probably 5 different run apps and this is my fav so far.

Virtual Coach

This is the 1st coach app I have tried & my initial impression is that I like it! I need to figure out how to navigate better between garmin & the Coopah app but that’s more down to me than the tech. Great value for your buck although I am not sure if I received my Fordy Runs discount?

Fantastic training plans

I have used the ‘Coopah’ training plans for my second half marathon and 1st 10k race;both races I achieved PBs. I set a target for 1:10:00 for my first 10k and actuallycompleted it with a time of 1:02:54! I also came 2nd in the 60V category . This was achieved through my commitment to the training plans which includes a mixture of runs , such as tempo, interval , long and easy runs . The plan also includes strength training and rest days . As a result of following the plan I managed to stay injury free too. Further more if I had a question or didn’t understand an aspect of a training session I just sent the coaches a message and they quickly got back to me . Absolutely excellent value for money and will be subscribing for another year!

Coopah is great

I have recently started using Coopah as my previous app was giving me what I thought was unrealistic goals. Coopah is more achievable and the option to chat to someone is fantastic.

Great for first time half marathon runner!

As a newbie, I have have found this app so helpful. Once set up, the training plans are excellent. Week and week I am starting to really feel the difference in my ability to run and with the way the plans are set out it doesn’t feel like a struggle. My plan is very flexible too, so if I’ve got stuff on I can chop and change certain aspects of my week to suit.

Something that I didn’t realised, is that is not just running there are strength videos too. Already after 1 month of my plan I’m starting to feel much stronger and my long runs don’t seem as achy afterwards.

For me, this app has helped me a total beginner who was seriously struggling with running to start to really enjoy running and the benefits I am getting with it. If you're a new runner like more or you are just keen to get back into training, this app will be perfect. I couldn't recommend it enough! Thanks Coopah!! 🫶🏻
