Shill bidding
I have learned to live with the glitchy app and can make it do what I want. Surely they would have more sales though, if the app was designed right. The good thing is, it probably sends potential buyers running and that way you can sometimes get a bargain price. However, sometimes is not all the time. I have bought numerous items and have noticed sometimes when you will put in a max bid they will bid you up internally seconds before the auction ends. One of my last items I was bidding on and it actually said I was out bid. In the morning I received an email saying I had won! But for my max bid price! How does that figure? I’ve noticed it numerous times where I was bid up to my max bid. Either a bot or people are internally shill bidding and we aren’t supposed to notice. Be cautious of putting max bid prices on items.

Doesn’t show all results
The app needs work. When there are many results for a search, the app doesn’t properly scroll down to the next page. It’s very frustrating to use, so it’s basically just for monitoring auctions I have already “liked” on my desktop pc. It’s also annoying that it keeps signing me out. I wish the main screen wasn’t just the mess of the website homepage but instead a clean app menu. It’s a clunky app that could be good with some work.

Needs a few crucial fixed
This app, really, should be earning more than 2 stars. It does what anyone could ask that a mobile app do, except you cannot share links to lists unless you're interested in entering in your/friends' email address(es). Ridiculous. The mobile website is better for that alone. This cannot be difficult to fix. Please just create a button on the listing page that lets you copy a link to the listing. Another thing: scrolling is a hassle because the moment you go from scrolling downward to upward, a giant header drops down, gets in your way, and shifts your whole screen downward. It comes out incredibly quickly and goes away the moment you scroll downward again. It's as if the developers never once tried to use the app themselves. Fix these two issues and you've got a blameless app.

Horrible App
Absolutely one of the worst apps in online merchandising. I have been in online retail forever, and I have never seen an app that goes so far out of its way not to accept your payments. Stay with the web based site, stay away from this application, it’s infuriating, and clearly there is no one administering a fix anytime soon.

Can find « the good stuff » but it requires diligence.
The only qualm I have is shipping. It can be slow and expensive, all that said I would much rather give my money to Goodwill than just another retail operation. I believe they do good and help people to be Independent
and lead productive lives.

love it
good app just has to have an update because every time I click on to look at an item and everything it takes me out of the app it’s just that one bug
Frequently freezes on a listing with no fox
I often get stuck in a listing and it won’t be clickable, and is impossible to navigate from. It makes the app unusable for days at a time. Goodwill, your app developers are losing you a lot of sales. It’s bad.
Fishy
Well, you can get some good things for a low price there’s some valuable items that I feel the bidding is fishy. There will be items that people will start biding $100-$200 still good price giving the fact that it’s been donated. But then if you pay close attention to the bidding. You will have one person jump from $100- $200 to $1000 then that same person a couple of min l later will bid another$1000. There will be the occasion that some one will out bid the supposed bidder. But if the seller/bidder is not out bided and the times run out. You will see the item in a couple of days out for auction again. Another thing shipping and handling costs, if you buy for example, an item you won the bidding for $20 the handling cost can sometimes add up to 10 dollars depending on the value of the item plus the regular cost of shipping. Depending factors are location and size of item. You are looking at another $10-$20 in total for shipping and “handling.”
Over all If money is not an issue and you dont care if the item was DONATED and sold like if the seller paid for it and the seller is also bidding to collect more money. Then bid on.

Was good
Used to be pretty good. Many glitches. Won something and there was no pay option! Then they gave me an unpaid item strike . The item is still in my account asking me to pay. When I emailed three times they finally after 7 days respond and say I never paid and they sold the item.
There is also no share option to share an item to text a friend. Only email and Facebook. Used to be there.

A decent enough app that supports the mission
This is not the eBay app, but is functional and is easier to use than the website.
Reading through reviews I find it funny that people seem shocked that Goodwill is selling the stuff they get for free. That is literally the point of these donations! Goodwill sells them, gets money, and then hopefully uses that money to help people. There are clearly a lot of clueless reviewers, as shocking as it seems.
I have purchased a ton of stuff through the app and have made some great finds, had a few duds, but when there have been issues I have been able to use the app to resolve them.
One feature I would love for a future release that I don’t think is available (unless I’ve missed it) is notifications when a watched item is ending soon.
So, if you thought Goodwill was giving your VCR to someone in need rather than selling it for cash to give them something useful, I’m sorry to ruin your Christmas.
