Money Advance with hiccup

I was approved within 5 minutes after linking through Plaid my bank account. I was excited because it seems the funds would be deposited today with my debit card. It won’t let me proceed though unless I pay the subscription first which is $8.99 monthly.

I’m disappointed because I have used another app that is similar and they simply added the monthly subscription to my repayment. And I was able to pay it on time.

Unfortunately I don’t have the $10 upfront. Less $5 in my bank right now. Which is terrible as from I what I read the loan advances are small starting with $50. So I’m assuming if you get $50 approved, you only receive technically $40 because upfront you already paid for the monthly subscription.

If you can afford the difference, I guess it’s worth it. Sadly I cannot access funds today.

Trash

This so is trash they approved me once for an advance and when they got their money back. They wouldn’t even let me do another one so I deleted the app, I waited about 3 mos and re-signed up only to be denied again. I believe they check your credit because they ask for your SSN. That don’t make sense since the advances aren’t based off of creditworthiness but on your income. I’m never trying to use this app again and wouldn’t advise anyone else to.

Hard to get approved not easy..

The beginning was easy, applied everything and it went great. I get paid a very comfortable amount every 2 weeks, but yet you said I don’t make enough to get approved for your loan??? I just needed a small loan due to a power outage in my town…not sure how much you need to make to a month to even get approved for this thing but I guess it’s gotta be A LOT.

So Far So Good

I just made the account and connected my primary bank account. The process was smooth and easy. I’ve used some other similar platforms that have very buggy apps and thankfully that wasn’t the case this time. I got the first tier advance delivered to my bank. Waiting to receive it. I’ll update my review after I receive and repay my advance.

Do Not Apply If You’re on Government Assistance or On A Pension

This app only helps if you have active and current employment. If you have government assistance (read a previous review from another applicant) or receive a pension, they will not approve you for a cash advance. They need an EMPLOYER they can verify so use this information before you decide to apply. (OneBlic’s response to this review won’t mean a thing because my situation won’t change).

We are constantly increasing the number of employers and transactions our system identifies in order to continue growing our audience. For the most part yes you are right, a cash-advance based on repayment via your employment direct deposit does need an employer. Awesome Company for Loan!!

I must say I love this app. My card and bank has been validated. Glad they accept Chime! Not a lot of apps do. Super plus! I love that there are tiers of loans available that grow after each month of on time payments! Super great! I love the flexibility of repayment date. I will be sure to always pay back on time. This helps during the month when the budget is tight and low! Highly recommend.

Fast Cash

I really needed some cash before my payday to take care of a copay. It was either reschedule my appointment or borrow the money. I remembered I had the OneBlic app and requested some money. I set the amount and repayment date. The money was in my account in less than a minute!!! The process was fast and easy. I would recommend to family and friends.

I have been using this app for some time now and recently it won't validate my debit card even though it's the same card and I had just used it to repay my advance. I don't know what's going on with the app but hopefully it will get fixed soon.
Another than that I have been able to get advances before that happened. Have anyone else been having this issue???their customer service is a joke!!!

This App Gets The Best Of People Who Pay On Time

I’ve had OneBlinc now for several months, 6+ months. I was up to $250 advanced and have always paid on time every time. All the sudden, after making my payment, my Home Screen on the app says I’m back to $50 advances. Not one late payment the whole time. I pay my bills on time. I feel like this app is getting over on people and knocking them down after so long. It happened to a coworker of mine who originally told me about this app. He had been paying on time every time for many months, up to $250 advances as well, he had had his app much longer than me and one day, his account did the exact same. He warned me that he tried to get it fixed but the customer service representative insisted they couldn’t fix it because he was late on payment when he was in fact not. Just like me, he had proof through his mobile banking and bank statements that he paid the advance on the day it was due. I feel like maybe they’re not making enough off people who are borrowing $200 and $250 amounts so they’re knocking people down to start all over after they’ve been maxed out for awhile. Well needless to say I won’t be borrowing any more from this app. I owe nothing now and will not use it again. I could see if I was actually late on a payment, but punishing people who pay their advances on time is not it. I’m very sorry, and I’m glad the advance is paid indeed, but I feel at this time borrowing more and starting over is risky.
