  • best game of the decade

Watching the rise and fall of wordle hysteria left me wondering what could possibly follow… I am so pleasantly surprised and how clever and fun this game mashes up that concept with other classics to create something which is now in a whole new league of its own. Congratulations to the developers, I hope you both get more awards for this game than you know what to do with.

  • A challenge with doubtful words

The game is fun and challenging. But for people who are not good in English, they may struggle on the long words even with hints. Some of the short words are dubious in my opinion as I have never seen or used them before (example: ohs, etc) but other than that, it is a good game.
  • Smart and Addictive!

Not only am I loving it but it’s replaced Wordle for me now.

A great feature would be a daily leaderboard with my friends similar to the NYT Crossword Daily Mini.
  • iCloud Sync and Premium Price is holding me back

I LOVE this game a lot! It’s really intuitive and addictive. The game is extremely aesthetically pleasing. The only issue is the high price point for a premium game experience paired with the fact that there is no iCloud sync. I have and still play Good Sudoku, and I will say that it is my favorite mobile game. This game is as good or even better than Good Sudoku IN THEORY! If those issues are fixed than this game would be the easiest 5 stars I have ever gave in my life.

  • Great! One suggestion.

Zach, you’re the best and my wife and I have always been fans. This game is yet another masterpiece. A feature request: could you please allow players to add “guess” letters to individual cells a la Sudoku? This would make things much more user-friendly when attempting to revisit previous words and deduce alternatives.

    Thanks!

  • Fun, but unstable (crash)

The game is well balanced freemium model, with daily challenges and some archived or puzzle books for free. It won’t last you forever but it’s more than enough for the odd distraction. As a paid user however I found it very unstable on my iPad. It kept crashing. Additionally I would like to see some sort of cloud save so I can hop between devices.

  • Hooked

    Love it
  • Very catchy fun, a little bugged

Easy to get into, a ton of fun to play. Not a super fan of the subscription model, would probably rather buy a pack at a time. Sometimes confusing as to which direction it will fill in letters. Also had a confusing bug where a puzzle was not marked as solved until I messed around, used a hint, saved and quit, and then resumed. It came back with the puzzle uninteractable and dimmed and when I saved and quit it showed the puzzle solved (with a much worse time as a result 😢)

  • The next great word game!

I don't write reviews often (go check, I'll wait) but I've loved this game for the same reason I love crosswords, Wordle, anagrams, etc. The design here is very simple and anyone can play this game (especially English-speaking individuals). The gameplay here is great with just enough challenge that you won't figure out every puzzle in a minute, but you'll rarely go over 10 minutes on one (I think...I'm averaging about 4 minutes per). Paid for the lifetime license already because I can tell this is going to stay on my phone for that perfect 'quick mental break' I need every now and then. I know it said there are different color themes, but I've yet to figure out how to activate them. Overall, fun and engaging game. Well done.

  • Sudoku with words

Great fun. Word play with sudoku-like puzzle moments. Pricing model is great. Subscribed.
