Rubbish! The old web version was much better
- You can’t talk to each other anymore
- you can’t choose who to play (no more rivalries)
- you can’t avoid rubbish players anymore
- you need coins to play each game (and it takes off more than it gives)

Big disappointment
After reading the reviews I decided to try again despite the negative reviews. What a disappointment! Talk about the hero rolls. No random dice generator here. Don’t waist your time if you are trying to learn, no matter what your skill level. The lower the skill the higher probability for your challenger to get the ultimate rolls.
Trying to set your birthdate . Good luck. Can’t go into any calendar to select. Have to click on the previous month. A lot if you are a baby boomer….Show lessfyhfrct
Coins purchase issue
I bought coins but it was never delivered to my account.
I also sent them emails but they never replied.

Really bad
Don’t lost your time… is visible that the dice is manipulated… after many games with my opponent getting double dices a lot of times in a unique game, I start to count how many times this happened…and in a single match my opponent got 8 doubles, but the worst, is that happen almost all the time…is to much visible that the game forces you lost for make you to buy coins… really sad because is saying that the game was made by a champion, so you expect a good and fair game but when you play, you can realize that is joke…Show lessCabriniluca
Crap .. could be so much better
Like all online backgammon (and dice) games, the di numbers are NOT normal.
It is not a good way to learn how to play because of the frequency of ‘lucky’ rolls.
At the same time, it’s the only one I’ve found that has a computer analysis after the game which is a really good way to learn; hence the extra 1 star for a poorly designed app with terrible user experience that should really get only 1 star in total were it not for the computer analysis option.
Just a shame you can’t actually apply any of that knowledge or learning because of the rigged dice situation. Plus there are very few members so matching with another player can take a long time, and sometimes never.
Also, I’ve now been playing for about a month but have been locked out of my account and can’t get back in, even by deleting and reloading the app.

Impossible to get an accurate GR reading!
I think the overall gameplay and analysis aspects are good and fantastic, respectively. The searching mechanism is TERRIBLE! It searches and searches and does not pair you. In the background, it’s matched you and gives you a loss for not “playing”. I was searching forever, canceled and researched 3 times. I took a loss for 3 games in a row averaging a GR of 2,400/game because I didn’t get a chance to play.
How has this game been out for as long as it has and this isn’t fixed? This is a rudimentary fix. Fix it, Marc, please.Show lessDrekDallas
Worst app in the world
Needs option to block players that are rude or purposefully wait out the timer. No ability to play one point game. If you backgammon someone you don’t get points because the opponent doesn’t have a chance to move or make mistakes so the system thinks they played like a master but technically they lost bc they got backgammoned!! The app is fine, but they need to attract more players
The app works okay, but I’m tired of not matching with an opponent. Galaxy must attract more users to the app by improving some glitches and making it more user friendly, and then hopefully I won’t have to wait 30-40 seconds or longer to have a match set.
To the Galaxy developers: don’t give up! And that goes for the website too! You must always continue making improvements and making it more user friendly. I think you’re currently the most popular BG app/website. use your momentum to make a better product. Lots of us are rooting for you.Show lessFarnza

I have not tried the play a friend option. The play a random player is great. The analysis is very useful when trying to get better. I have a minor suggestion that the loser of the analysis should pay the bank, instead of the winner of the game.Nekthen
