  • Not cooperating

My system was functioning optimally until recently. The issue began with the system falsely indicating that the memory card is full, despite it being empty. This problem persists across many memory cards. Additionally, the Wi-Fi functionality on the machine is currently non-functional. I reached out to this customer support technician. I have not received a response from anyone.
  • Eh

The videos through the app don’t always work, especially the older ones. If I leave the app, even though I’m connected to the WiFi, I have to reconnect for some reason. I just feel there are better ones out there. This one does the job but I want to be abele to do everything through the app not my computer.
  • Terrible Adding Camera Experience

I have never been able to connect to this camera with this app. I put in the serial number, and it just sits there, even though I am connected to the device WiFi and have checked the serial number multiple times. It’s insane that the app is this badly broken. The app is probably trying to access the internet while connected to the camera. Please test and fix your app.
  • Best dash cam I’ve owned yet

This cam is so easy to set up. Clear picture day and night. Love built in GPS, direction and speed at a glance and WIFI to your phone. Great product! Thinking about getting a second one for my truck.
  • Best Dash Cam

I used another manufacturer’s dash cam for years until it failed which forced me to go shopping.
Fortunately for me, I found the Rove dash cam which put the other manufacturer to shame. The Rove cam is small & compact but loaded with features.
If you are looking for a dash cam, give Rove a test drive, I’m sure you will be impressed.
  • Not the best but not the worst

I have two Rove Dash Cams that I use with this app and here’s my experience:

    Pros:
    - great quality camera
    - downloads great quality videos
    - easy to navigate

    Cons:
    - slow to download videos
    - misses video clips
    - inconsistent connection (I have issues staying connected to one of the two cameras)

    Overall:
I would like to recommend these cameras and this app but after realizing that the app and camera miss video clips, I am not sure that I can confidently recommend this product. I was almost t-boned today and there was a two minute gap between videos that just so happened to be during the moment that I was almost t-boned. Had I been in an accident at the 4-way stop, I wouldn’t have had evidence supporting that the other guy ran through the stop sign and locked up his brakes.
  • Update? Format?

Turned ok WiFi to get a video, but the app acted like it did not recognize my device or dash cam. Connected it WiFi as you have to do and it needed a firmware update. Fine I did it and it made me format the SD card in order for it to work properly. So I lost all re-recorded footage. I’ve had the original Rove R2-4K and I have never had this happen. Not sure if upgrading was a good decision.
  • Playback

I have tried everything to get the playback settings so I can play my videos at real time and I just can’t figure it out
  • Review

I would have given it a 5 but you can’t view or atleast I can’t view videos unless I’m sitting In my truck. Other than that app is great and I love the dash cam when it’s not constantly connecting and disconnecting from Wi-Fi in the city!
  • Can’t get WiFi to work

I’m not very techy, but I’ve tried to follow the directions and cannot get my dash cam to relate to my phone. I’ve had camera for close to a year now without having a need for proving a camera incident while driving. But the day will come that I will need to show what happened.
