Not enough holidays.
I was hoping that if I left these up all year, I could re program them for each holiday but they only have Christmas and Halloween. You can program pixel by pixel yourself but it not user friendly. I wish they would update with St Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mardi Gras, etc.
1 set of 2 stopped working
I purchased two sets at the same time and after a short time one set completely stopped working even though I’d had NOT made an change or adjustments since initially setting them up; the 2nd set continues to work fine. The app is busy and should be simplified.
Absolute nonsense
Tried for hours to go through pairing process with bulbs purchased only a year ago, and the app is useless to connect to the bulbs. Waste of money, no support, and terrible app design that leaves you completely stranded with how to use the products. Failure of design, beginning to end.
Can’t figure it out
I can’t figure out how to group all of my lights - I would like to have all of them use the music sync feature but it doesn’t seem possible beyond using music sync on only one light at a time.

Hello, please long press the device, and a function to create a group will appear below. You can add the device you want to synchronize to the group. Waste of Money
I got these for Christmas and when I set them up, they don’t even work they just flicker everywhere. They always disconnect from the Wi-Fi. This is a waste of money, so do not buy this.

Permanent Lights

Random color reset
My light bulbs often- but not always come on in a purple color scheme. I don’t have a scene set to be purple, nor is it the last selected color. The lights always come on at dusk and turn off at dawn like they are programmed too.
The color issue is not every day either. Some days they will all turn on in the last selected colors. Some days they will all be purple and sometimes 3 will be purple and 1 will be another color.
Not sure how to remedy this.

Don't waste your time
I purchased a floor lamp that came with one of these bulbs as soon as I read the instructions for how to connect it to my Alexa I began to worry the instructions were poorly written and there are several other negative reviews luckily I had a spare Sengled smart bulb that I set up with my lamp instead--if you have a different kind of smart bulb I highly recommend you use it otherwise good luck with this bulb from Ally express or whatever cheap Chinese manufacturer makes them

Great flexibility and very intuitive.
Could be so much better…
This app reminds be of smart lighting apps when the services first launched 10+ years ago. There is so much potential, but the user interface beyond the pretty honeycomb designed Home Screen is just difficult. Simple things like saving a scribble as a scene, or being able to sync across all devices are unavailable. Setting colors isn’t easy. You can’t dim the lights without creating a completely new pattern (with the exception of plain white). Not being able to copy/duplicate scenes so you always have to start fresh instead of on a template you know is annoying. And the playlist feature just sets off all triggers at once instead of timing them. Finally, the lack of IFTT capabilities is disappointing too. It’s almost 2024, but this app is very much in 2014.
All in all I think this app ~could be really great~ but it’s very archaic when it comes to smart light controls. Unfortunately I have to use this app for my roofline lights so I will be patiently waiting for version updates and continuously sending feedback offering improvements.
I will say however the support team is incredibly responsive and any time I’ve submitted a ticket with a question, a response is in my inbox within 24-48 hours.
