Wish I could view 4K on the app. That would make the most sense as that is how most would use these cameras. Get a better picture with my Blink cameras that are not 4KDeveloper Response

I bought a set of Defender cameras due to a neighbor having great success with them. I purchase the Defender Sentinel NVR 4 camera set up and had to download Defender Empower to get the videos on my phones remotely. This app is definitely difficult to navigate and every time I go back to view past footage, it always starts a midnight, which is annoying, and I can’t seem to figure out when I detects motion. I’ll get an app motivation, but when I go to playback it’s a highlighted blue. There should be an indication on when the cameras detection motion. It’s also very difficult to to find “Albums” when I save the footage. Maybe I’m new to this app, but there also isn’t very much information on navigating the app either. 2 out of 5 stars for now. App is pretty nice and well done. Overall great job. Couple bugs to report.
1. Motion alarms seem to get triggered from motion outside of motion detection area set in NVR.
2. Messages/alarm window is always blank when opening from multi camera view window. Then when selecting the specific camera and selecting messages you can see alarms from the day. Basically you have to dig into the specific camera to see motion alarms.Show lessDeveloper Response

Downloading and setting up the app was an easy process. It has some nice features. You can watch in live view mode or playback mode. Playback mode is nice when I want to review all the motion video recordings in a time period, without having to play each one separately. It plays the first recording, and automatically goes to the next one. I use this feature every morning to review what the cameras picked up at night time. I like being able to control some settings on the cameras right from the app. If it’s raining and picking up false alarms, I can quickly change the sensitivity level without having to get up and go downstairs to the NVR. I can also control the mode of recording. I prefer to record in smart mode as it illuminates the scene in colour with awesome quality. Sharing captured video recordings and sharing them was very easy to do. The app is simple and easy to navigate.Show lessDeveloper Response

The app is stable and works well providing camera access from any wifi connection. Just remember to view footage of a notification, choose the camera and go to messages. Great app, no monthly fees, great tech support! What’s not to like?Developer Response
