  • Fun but there are major problems…

This game is something I’ve been looking for, but unfortunately it’s quite honestly unplayable at its current state. The game constantly forces you to restart due to its plethora of unlucky events at you, these events can span from a minor power outage to a critical oxygen plant failure. How do you fix this events? By sending your rocket all the way back to earth to get a repair kit, if you’re lucky. You might be able to save you colony, but if not, you need to restart. These repair kits are one of the biggest issues, they are expensive and extremely hard to get (let alone keep). The expensive part wouldn’t be too bad if the game didn’t force you to spend all your credits at the start of the game, you are basically living off small scraps of credits from advertisements for most of your start, but as soon as you make a little stash of money, a catastrophic event hits forcing you to spend it all for a repair kit or some other stupid reason. This game basically never gives you any rewards and keeps you begging for more scraps, that is of course if you don’t purchase premium currency or more credits. This game is a waste of time and it’s aggravating, wouldn’t recommend downloading it at its current state, as it basically forces you to whip out your wallet in order to progress.

  • Has promise

I enjoyed Terragenesis immensely and was excited when I found Landfall by the same crew. Unfortunately, after several attempts, I have come to the conclusion that the game is unplayable. While the concept is great and the mechanics are very interesting, it seems impossible to progress very far. I assume this is a way to force you to purchase assets with real money, which is so discouraging. Even watching a commercial every few minutes I was unable to keep my colony going. I expected better from you Terragenesis.

  • Good but really needs fine tuning

This game is actually extremely fun to play, with times being reasonable, and development consistently interesting and logical. It looks great too, however this is where the problem is..

Events. If you like looking at your city prepare to watch half your settlers die in accidents while you do so. Currently the cost seems to be one engineer or 5k credits every two minutes. Its too steep. I cant count how many rovers or shuttles my greedy settlers have stolen when I took a moment to check my food levels.

The only way to really move forward in the game is to rush your upgrades in less than 30 seconds and close the game before the next power shortage causes the death of half the staff, or they riot and steal all the ice and end up dying of thirst.

  • Not much time played but few ideas

I haven’t played much but the tutorial of the game has been enough to peek my interest on the game. I have a few ideas tht may just take this game a little farther but also seem impractical. My first is a little one but the rotation mechanic could use a little work and maybe adding a snap feature tht u can turn on and off when need be. The second I just think would make the game super cool is terra forming idk if that’s the right slang but what I mean is when u get enough co2 or oxygen in the air or a way to produce such things it starts to add grass or water and other plants around ur city/village which may be super impractical but kinda cool that’s. There also need to be a tutorial on correct hab placement for best positions where to keep away and where they strive when places.

  • Stuck in a loop

The tutorial is stuck in an endless loop making the game un playable. Would be a really good game if this bug was fixed.
  • Bugs on Mars

The game is quite challenging and has some nice touches. Yet I’m experiencing the same problem as a lot of users. The game is stuck in the tutorial loop. Asking you to build a command centre when it’s already built. There is no way of skipping it, no way of repairing the game when it’s loading, uninstalling doesn’t wipe the game file and when you email support you get no response. I was hoping the latest update would fix the issue but sadly it did not. I would give the game a better rating but the poor response from the devs and the same issue being seen by multiple players, I’m gonna have to give it a low score

  • Love it except major glitches

Love it even more then the original however, this last week mine has been glitching super bad. Counters don’t move, like my rocket, rovers and shuttles. I can’t do anything because all progress is stopped because those key features aren’t working properly. It just started this last week of play. Also, the zooming and pan features need to be totally reworked. It is slow and difficult to use. Otherwise, this game has so much to do and I love it! Definitely an amazing follow up to the original! Can’t wait for an update to fix the glitches so I can play again.

  • Potential

I started playing this through TerraGenesis and was super excited but it just kind of fell short. I’m writing this after having to restart my city after about a week of struggling to understand my objectives in the first place. I have no clue what went wrong, a new day rolled over and I just had multiple catastrophic failures. This game has potential but for me it’s just confusing not really knowing what to do next. The only objectives were exploring the same 3 types of places or population. The random events also kill off your engineers like pests, I had no chance to grow when I was too busy waiting on replacements. There should be a way to make your facilities more safe. Honestly it got boring very quick. when I did finally figure out what I need to do to progress a little bit the UI made it difficult to see the resources I needed and how to get those resources. Switching between the interfaces was also just kind of clunky and tedious. Maybe I just didn’t last long enough for things to become really interesting but those are my struggles

  • Interesting game

Seems okay for a strategy game and construction. Tutorial could be a little better in assisting the base to being established.
  • Too hard

Played for the last few days and had to restart my facility 5x times. I follow the challenges (as usually in a game this leads you in the right direction when using resources and becoming self-sufficient) but disasters keep happening (humans dying/equipment breaking down) at such regular intervals which almost instantly wipe out your facility with no way of recovering unless you spend actual money. Great game when it allows you to progress. Real shame and have removed the app now to spend my time on other games that aren’t as frustrating.
