Awesome app!!

I was so delighted to find that SCDNR had this app! It makes my life so much easier as we spend a ton of time on the water. I love that it syncs my licenses, has boat ramp info, tides, moon info, sunrise and sunset info. It’s freaking awesome. Well done SCDNR!!

Next to useless

Got notified there was a new version, still can’t get the boat ramp locator to work. It’d be a really nice app if the features actually worked. It would be awesome for the folks to have this info to use.

How do u know if u have the latest app version??

Doesn’t help active duty military at all

Since stationed out of state on active duty military orders, all I need is permits and not a license- yet online you can’t purchase a permit (such as migratory bird) without a license coupled with it in the cart. (Problems when computers over humans do everything online) Tried to call scdnr hq in Columbia-they thought they fixed the matter but were unable to fix the online error (I was on hold for 40 minutes) I hung up with them believing it was fixed….so at the end of the day, I gave up and bought the darn license online that by law was not required for military serving out of state but hunting in state on leave -system performs poorly —so easy to fix too. Will they call me?

Needs work (useless)

App crashes. Repeatedly asks for biometrics for every registered user. My sons license defaults to primary. And biggest complaint- I can’t see the licenses without going to the purchase page and while on the purchase page the auto renewal is being triggered constantly. Miserable App.

TOO MANY ADS

I’m deleting this app because I can’t read any information due to nonstop ads popping up. Even when I close the ad, it pops back up before I can find the spot I was reading. I mean a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF ADVERTISING!!!!

A suggestion

App works great and has cool options. Like the fact I can put my hunting license on it. But as I have asked DNR repeatedly, can we add a way to check in and out of WMA land. This would make life so much easier. It’s an hour drive to check in and another hour to check out for me to go 5 miles to where I want hunt. You could also add checkout reminders and if a person does not respond it can send their location to DNR in case that person got lost or had an accident in the woods.

Junk

Most of the buttons won’t work, you can pull the menu down but, it will not let you select anything. My husband tried to add me under his profile, no go, it wouldn’t let him. I tried to purchase turkey tags, couldn’t do that. SCDNR tell your tech geek to try again, there are some major improvements that need to be made.
