  • Lacking support

    The Index app lacks support. You can use the app to chat with a chat box that directs you to pre-written help articles. That’s cute for curiosity, but not very effective for actual problems.
    If you persist, you can chat with a real person (possibly?), but the conversation can lag at times and continue for an extended period.
    If a trouble ticket is created and it exists for 24 hours without intervention, the system assumes the problem is solved and closes the ticket.
    I’ve been unable to send or receive text messages in the app for almost two weeks now without resolution. Ticket after ticket is created (because the keep being marked as “solved” then closed) with the promise that someone or doing something, but the issue persists.

  • Cumbersome to use

    I’ve had the app one day and I’m already ready to move onto something else. My biggest problem is if you are connected as a team you get maybe 10 seconds to answer a call before it gets forwarded to voicemail automatically with their announcement system that you cannot turn off when connected as a team. By the time you answer the call, you barely have enough time to find the keypad to press one to connect the call., 98% of the time it goes right to voicemail. The announcement feature is incredibly useless when not connected to Wi-Fi and again you can’t turn it off.
    There’s too many steps to make when answering a call within 10 seconds or less so I miss half of the calls during the day.

    I use Apple calendar and trying to get the bookings figured out, but my phone uses my personal calendar and for the life of me couldn’t figure out how to get a booking for a client sending an alert. The booking section is now useless to me.

    Overall, I’m ready to start seeking another provider. my biggest reason is the delayed connections on incoming calls and having to press one to connect a call.

We understand Call Forwarding can be time sensitive, if you continue to have any problems with this you can always disable call announcement in your Index settings.   • Team share does not work.

    If you like when people steal your time. Enjoy. Tech-support is slow and horrible. Worst experience I’ve ever had with any software. And I work with tons of software. I installed the app last night. Tried to get team share to work. The invitees never received the invite text. tech-support deleted the person I invited from the system while trying to figure out what was going on. Now I can’t get them back in the system no matter what I do. Tech-support now claims after 24 hours too many people have been invited. And that’s why it’s not working. They want me to wait 24 hours and try again. Why the heck can’t they just reset it. They can see who I have invited. I’ve only invited three people total. Some of them multiple times because they never received their text. Invite. However, for the first 12 hours, I only invited two people. No one has ever received an invite text. There seems to be a workaround however tech-support can’t tell me how it works from the other end. Or whether any of my invites are still in the system.

Please refrain from sending any more invites in that time span. As for your recipients, the invites could possibly be blocked by the recipient's phone carrier.
