Gone downhill rapidly

Since joining the amount I have made a tenner. However, the number of coins you need has rocketed dramatically. It’s over 12,000 now, when I joined it was around 2500. So saw reviews that said it was 1250 before that. No it’s not a lot of effort to get coins but is it really worth it? The coins you get from videos appears to have significantly dropped too. Last few weeks my videos have only gotten me one coin. It was never great, but I would often get more than one hundred on a daily basis by sitting through tedious videos but nope, it’s down to one video now. It’s not worth the hassle for a river every few months. Just drive in a higher gear, skip a coffee out, or switch you’re lights off and you’ll make a better saving for less faff.

The app does get you walking but, it took a few months for me to even get a 5$ gift card. Now that was just me, but they should really put more money on to the gift cards or you get 100 cash coins for every 50 steps. But the app is great in general but I don’t really like how when you try to cash it in it has an ad that pops up everywhere before you have to get the cash coins and when you have the prizes for like walking 2000 steps you get like 8 coins so the prizes are kind of rigged. It will say 2,346 or 1,560 or other big numbers and you will end up with either 5 or 8 or 7 so yea. And the scratch game that you play to win coins it says scratch three diamonds to win huge prize when there is only two diamonds in the scratch card. That’s just my opinion on it cause everyone is different but they should really update the cash on it

Thought it would be good, but just awful

Started using this app a while ago as saw it recommended on a facebook group. To start with you had to earn 1,250 coins (1coin per 100steps) to get a £5 voucher, great!! So i thought! I didn’t get a chance to reach 1,250 coins as a few days later and starting my 10k steps a day, it shot up to 3,500 coins, ok so a little more work to earn that £5, no biggy. Then to my surprise, it went up AGAIN!!! This time 6,250 coins required to get a £5 voucher, took me some time but i got there!! But….. i went into the rewards and now unbelievably it wants 12,000 coins for a £5 reward!! So i could not get any voucher using this app, ridiculous!! Waste of time, do not bother!!! I have now deleted the app as i simply can not be bothered, even if i do the walking, it is infuriating that you keep raising the goal, so im just not using it anymore. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND

Deleted the app after another increase

Opened app tonight to find coins have increased again from 6250 to 12,500. When I first got this app it was 2500 for £5, now it’s 12,500 for £5. Feel the app developers have got greedy now as not only have coins increased, ad quantity & length has increased so it’s taking more of my time to get coins. Having 5020 coins banked this evening and having last got a voucher in June, I worked out it will take me another 2 months to get enough coins for £5. So approximately 4 months of painstaking collection for a measly £5 doesn’t seem worth it. Had the value of £ increased with the coin increase I might have stuck at it but nope, it’s now deleted. Additionally, the new “double coins” when watching ads doesn’t work. Countless times I’ve clicked to double, watched the entire ad & then it fails to double or app crashes, so it doesn’t actually give any extra. It also doesn’t link to apple watch for steps & the ads drain the battery. In the past I would have recommended this app but it’s more hassle than it’s worth now. So I’m out!

Not worth it anymore

I first started using this app when a voucher costed 2500 coins. This was brilliant - you could get a £5 Starbucks voucher basically every month. Then the price rose to 3750 coins per voucher... OK, still good. Then, 6250 coins... so a voucher maybe every 2-3 months; getting a bit stingy . Now the price has just risen to 12,500 coins per voucher... so you get a £5 Starbucks voucher every 5-6 months if you walk 10k steps per day AND remember to claim the coins before midnight every day AND tap the redeem button 100 times while having to watch ads...
With that, the value proposition is gone. And, considering the price has risen every few months, what's next? A year of using the app to get a £5 voucher?
I suspect the devs will probably just take down the app pretty soon. But if not, I hope they will figure out a way to bring the prices back down.

Devs/support don’t care

I’ve been playing the games because it gives you more points faster. So far all the games I had played rewarded me the points for reaching the mildstones, but some of them have either not given me my points at all or stopped after a certain point. Find Easy - Hidden Differences stopped giving me points after level 22. I reached level 26, 25 was the next milestone but it never gave me anything beyond level 22. The next game is Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles. The first goal was to reach level 20, I’m currently on level 24 and I never received any points. Idle Bank Tycoon: Money Game stopped giving me points after the first milestone. Color Ball Sort Wooden Puzzle never rewarded me any points even after I reached the first goal. I sent in tickets for the first two games and have yet to hear back or receive my points. I’m not playing these games any further as it would be a waste of my time. I never played the games before so I was a new player to them. I will be uninstalling these games since I’ve yet to get what I earned.

Edit: July 16. I never got a response from support and I never got the points I EARNED so after 48 hours if you haven’t received your points don’t waste your time on that game. Leave a bad review and move on. The CashWalk devs support scam games that are obviously bait.

Worst. App. Ever

I tried this app after seeing hundreds of ads for it on other apps. I figured that if I’m going to be walking, why not get a gift card for it. Earn 3000 coins and get a $5 card, easy enough. Then they raised the requirements. No big deal, I’m walking anyway. Then one day I get logged out of the app, when I log in, all my steps were gone. Fine. Glitches happen no big deal. Then it happened again a week later. Then again. And again. I’ve finally had enough. Why should I watch ads for coins (and make the developer money in the process) when I don’t get credit for my steps? Also, this app doesn’t count your steps like other apps or Fitbit or Apple Watch. It takes your steps using GPS. So your fitness tracker may say you did 10,000 steps, but this app will say 6,000. So you can’t earn coins if you use a treadmill, again no big deal. It’s not a big deal until you sit down at night to mindlessly tap the screen to get your coins only to find out that your daily progress has been reset. Customer service is non existent. Do yourself a favor and get a different app. There are plenty out there.

My CASHWALK review

I recently started using the Cashwalk app, and it's been really cool for both staying active and earning rewards. The app is easy to use and looks nice. You just open it, and it counts your steps, giving you points for every step you take. These points can be traded for things like gift cards and discounts, which makes walking more fun. It also shows you your daily and weekly step counts, which helps you keep track of your fitness goals. The app works well without crashing and doesn’t use too much battery. Plus, you can add friends and join challenges, which makes it even more exciting. One thing that could be better is if they added more types of rewards. Overall, Cashwalk is a great app for anyone who wants to get more active and earn cool stuff at the same time. I really recommend it!

Not worth your time

You can only collect 100 coins a day and it’s 6250 coins to get a £5 voucher, which in that case is 62.5 days of going onto your app, I really don’t think it’s worth the hassle of going on everyday to collect them, closing the ads that pop up all the time, it’s really not worth the added stress in my mind, it was 2500 then changed to 3750 for a £5 voucher which I would understand and makes it more worth while but I got to just over 3750 coins and then they changed it to 6250, changed my mind on this app completely and stopped using it, the amount of time and data it would use if you worked it out they would make 4 times that back from your mobile phone provider, if it gets changed back to 2500 like it used to be before the 2 updates I may think about using it again but I doubt it!

Hello, CashWalker! We are truly sorry if you had any inconvenience. It might seem too long to reach the goal, but if you keep cashwalking, you will get your reward even before you realize it!! If you want to earn more, we recommend opening daily lucky boxes, inviting friends, trying offerwall missions, and joining challenges in the 'Feeds' tab. :)

Honest opinion of Cashwalk

I have been using Cashwalk for a fair few months now and have seen a difference into my life with fitness due to this app. I’m walking as much as I can daily (especially my days off) trying to reach my target of 10,000 steps a day and most of the time I do. It’s pushed me to be more healthier, focus on a goal and get a reward from all my hard work.

The vouchers are legit, they are real. I have had my fair few vouchers since this app and it has been so beneficial saving up for a reward.
