Sick of scams
These Philips lights once worked flawlessly which is why I have a home full of them. Suddenly nothing responded to the previous Hue app which led me to this piece of trash. I’ll throw each of these bulbs away before I pay for a subscription to control an already expensive investment. Pathetic.MrSonnyJames

Do not get this app for your lights nor use it in any way!!!! It asked for my credit card information to verify who I was (with a promise of no charges) and now fraudulent charges are being made on my credit card by fraudulent websites, which I have caught and refused.Pahok
Terrible
The worse app I have ever used. It leads you in circles signing in to start with. Then it will not connect with your existing bulbs and the instructions send you to a series that doesn’t exist. I’m ready to trash all my Phillips bulbs.Ludlow831
Where do I start?
Bought about 150 dollars worth of hue lighting and thought Phillips would wish to make it easy to use. Perhaps to create happy users and encourage new purchases. Instead, they make it barely possible to use most of the time, not possible to use some of the time, and extremely frustrating throughout. It’s a scam
There is no other way to put it. It’s a scam. I have it and when I try to connect a light it tells me to “upgrade to premium”. That’s not upgrading, that’s called a subscription. Upgrade means you can use it without the upgrade. Besides the fact that the developers don’t know what upgrade means, the light it’s self is average. It bright which is nice, but it takes a second to actually turn on when I flip the switch. It’s so annoying as I have spent at least an hour the past few days trying to connect the light without a pop up for the “upgrade” and when I press the x it just takes me back to the connect screen, I press connect, and the same crap add comes up. And developers, don’t even send the automated response, I know you don’t read reviews. But in short, it’s a waste of money. Don’t bye this, one star.Show lessThe light reviewer

Confusing, ad-annoying and generally buggy

Scam
Pretended to be the Phillips hue light app and said it wanted $20 for a lifetime subscription and just charged my credit card like $60 bucks. Total scam should not be on App Store.Përßœñ mæń gūÿ
